Weather in 5 We see a quiet week ahead though it is cold in the Northeast and Mid Atlantic states today and that cold air will spread south into Florida tonight and Tuesday. A storm east of the Carolinas is headed out to sea. No major storms this week or weekend. Warmer late this week and some showers over the weekend.

Weather in 5 a storm is intensifying east of the Delaware coast and we are seeing rain changing to snow across New England. Winter Storm Warnings are posted for up to a foot of snow in Central and Northern New England. Heavy rain Coastal NJ and Long Island with strong winds developing this afternoon and evening. Weather improves Sunday. The week ahead looks dry and quiet.

Joe  & Joe Weather Show  Friday December 4, 2020 Winter Storm Warnings are up from Northeast Connecticut northward to Maine for up to a foot of snow in some places. Along the coast heavy rain is possible from Virginia to Coastal Southern New England to down east Maine. Storm Warnings and Gale Warniings are up for the coastal waters. Weather conditions will improve on Sunday. We take a look at next week and the long range.

Weather in 5 A strong coastal storm will develop on Saturday bringing the potential for heavy snows in Central and Northern New England with rain near the coast down to Virginia. Snow forecasts from several inches across interior Southern New England to a foot or more in Maine.

Joe  & Joe Weather Show  Thursday December 3, 2020 Winter Storm Watches are posted for Central and Northern New England for rain changing to snow Saturday into Sunday morning. A strong storm is forecast to develop along the Delaware coast and strengthen into a major storm as it heads to New England. Heavy rain from Eastern  Virginia to Southern New England up to 2 inches in some places. We will look at next week and the long range.

Heavy rain of up to 2 inches from Eastern Virginia to Southern New England and heavy snow for interior New England likely.

Weather in 5 yesterday's storm system is finally moving away to the Northeast so a mix of sun in clouds is in order today for the Northeast and Northern Mid Atlantic. The next storm for the east is slowly taking shape in the Southern Plains with rain and snow in parts of Texas Oklahoma and Kansas. The West is dry. The pattern remains active into next week.

Joe  & Joe Weather Show  Monday November 30, 2020 A severe weather outbreak across the Mid Atlantic and Northeast with several tornado warnings. Not too far west of this action we have Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings from the Ohio Valley, Western NY & Pa to West Virginia and Western Maryland south to Northern Georgia. Some of the mountain peaks could see up to a foot of snow. Also a foot possible on the lee shores of Lake Erie in Ohio and NW Pennsylvania.
