Joe became famous when he won The X Factor in 2009 and his debut single The Climb topped the charts. Joe is a gay man and came out to the world shortly after his win. He was immediately thrust into the spotlight regarding his sexuality - a lot for someone of his age at the time to deal with. But Joe did deal with it and now finds himself as one of the most sought after stars in the theatre world and a celebrity with countless hit albums under his belt.
