12. Blood Beat

Joe watches the "so bad, it's good" (but is actually really bad) Christmas horror movie, "Blood Beat" (1983)!

If you read the description of this movie, where a son brings his girlfriend home for Christmas but then she's inhabited by the soul of a samurai who starts killing folks, you think it sounds awesome! It is not awesome. It is long, slow shots of things barely happening interspersed with a plot that doesn't make sense. Merry Christmas!

11. Enchanted Christmas

Have you ever wanted to go back to your hometown and take over that hotel you once danced in? Well, do I have the movie for you: Enchanted Christmas (2017)!

You'd think, if your husband passed away and you were left raise your daughter on your own, this might be enough reason to avoid returning to your hometown. Not if you're Laura! That is the last reason she's avoiding Rosemont, Utah! No, it doesn't make any sense to Joe! Maybe it'll make sense to you!

So you have a dad and son who are frustrated that each can't see the other's perspective, right? Then they do a body saw, live a few days in the other's life, and return. You get it. But, then, at the end, only the son learns any lessons. The dad has an easy time of it in school with NO CHALLENGES. What a weird choice.
