As the new John Farnham documentary Finding The Voice arrives in cinemas this week, we were able to talk to one of the central figures in the film, Gaynor Wheatley. Gaynor first found fame as an actress on the likes of Skyways and Holiday Island. Her late husband Glenn Wheatley was John's longtime manager. Garynor was married to Glenn during the time he managed John and now she acts as John’s co-manager. When Glenn passed away, Gaynor found a note on a list to do that said ‘finish Farnham doco’. Gaynor features heavily in the film and in a way helps carry the emotional arc of the movie. Here Sean Sennett asks her about everything from Holiday Island to hearing ‘You’re The Voice’ for the first time through to what’s next for the Farnham catalogue. She also talks about the infamous tour when John supported Stevie Nicks on a lap around Australia and much more.
