The Winner of Last Comic Standing, John Heffron, joins me to talk about the road to comedy success. Before winning Last Comic Standing John used to go to the Main Street Comedy Showcase in Ann Arbor Michigan where a waitress named Lucy Liu (yes, that Lucy Liu) encouraged John to sign up for a comedy open-mic night. John signed up and the rest is history. John and I discuss the early years of his career while attending Eastern Michigan University, being heckled at the Spaghetti Bender by my pal Jeff Katz, John's rise to comedy fame which included two Comedy Central specials and visits to The Tonight Show, competing and winning season 2 of Last Comic Standing, hidden comedic gem Leo Dufour, John's successful podcast with Jon Reep, John's book 'The Holding Game', doing comedy at bowling alleys, and so much more!
