  • The Mozart of Movie Music - Ennio Morricone
Ennio Morricone was the Mozart of Movie Music.  He moved onto a different realm yesterday at 91 (on July 6, 2020), after living a long and successful life.  I made a podcast about him and the 4 other major movie film composers, emphasizing Morricone's ability to define any entire sub-genre of film (The Spaghetti Western), how he once crafted music without a full symphony, and how his skill of versatility prevailed and shined, making him one of the most influential film score composers of all-time.
Just wanted to share it with you.  It's a good recount of his life, his accomplishments, and what made him an incredible man.
Discover how Ennio Morricone was the true "Mozart of Movie Music". Giving films that gritty characteristic edge, out of cinema's the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly...he was beyond The Good.
After quickly rifling through other influential music composers, we get into tempo (most of Morricone's scores were adagio), and fully comprehending how one man truly defined an entire sub-genre of film (the spaghetti western) purely via music!

The reversal role-play frame really goes beyond your ability to have a fair dinkum (exactly as it appears) perspective. You have 100% total different judgments operating with the reversal role-play frame. With this frame you experience how a totally independent, but helpful, person will evaluate your progress towards a goal. Trigger questions for the reversal role-play frame are:
Would this helpful person observe me doing the best thing?
Would this person see me taking authentic preventive measures to thwart this destructive behavior and to advance beneficial behavior?
Let’s take the example of quitting a bad habit:
I have a destructive habit that leads to poor decisions. When I do this destructive habit, I don’t feel like I am being myself. It’s an addiction. I’ve done my best to cease this toxic habit, but I feel attached to this pernicious behavior, despite it having a monumentally negative impact on my life.
Now the fun part. In this role-play frame, you get to step outside yourself and take on all the preconceptions and biased views of the helpful person. It’s refreshing to experiment how a different person will assess your progress. This kindly person may notice you making significant progress when you take certain behavior, but that you derail your evolution when you take different actions.
Make mental notes of this advantageous perspective. It’s rewarding to profitably experience your progress from another’s vista. It’s more than refreshing, it’s downright liberating to escape your own judgments and evaluations, which can be too critical or not demanding enough. Visualize how this unique and fulfilling person would inspect your momentum toward goal achievement.

What are some of your thrive mechanisms? I’m wondering what some thrive mechanisms are for others. They have to be different for each person because a thrive mechanism is based on your life choices, experiences, tendencies, interests, upbringing, and even culture. While they may evolve, I’ve identified two of mine (physiological alignment and communication). I am wondering what are some of your thrive mechanisms are! Post in the comments! What enriches your day? What makes you feel superb? What are the valuable actions you take that invite greater depth of purpose and meaning into your life? Whatever actions you take that accomplish that are your thrive mechanisms! Thrive mechanisms are important!

  • I Liked 'The Last Samurai'
SPOILER-Alert: If you haven't seen this film, 'The Last Samurai', but want to, I do reveal some plot elements to make a point about the prevalence of tradition and wisdom over technology. Technology is superb, and I love it, but sometimes traditions prove to be more meaningful. What do you think? Post in the comments!

    I loved the Last Samurai.
    Very much dances with wolves
    Bushido code
The code f moral principles which the samurai were required and instructed to observe. Often unuttered.
    8 virtues
    Righteousness
    Heroic courage
    Benevolence/cmpassin
    Respect
    Honesty
    Honor
    Duty/loyalty
    Self-cntrl/self-discipline
Emperor speaks - has a voice - values tradition and roots (Samurai) and never frgetting who we are
    Amazing script. Great acting.
The performances of Watanabe and Cruise made for incredibly layered, fulfilling, and meaningful cross-culture dialogue.
I liked Watanabe more simply because I am more drawn to the (to me) unfamiliar Japanese culture. I know American culture all too well. I seek what is different at times . But cruise’s performance was exceptional.
Saw in theaters. Wasn’t the right time fr me t appreciate this movie.
Restored my belief in cruise’s acting ability. Not Tom Hanks. An exceptional actor, but cruise was perfectly cast and quite remarkable in this film.
War of worlds - sci fi action thriller
    Missin impssible spy action
Long film. 2.5 hours .like a play. Miss that in films these days.. not actin film although action in it are drama fish ut f water this was quality
    Drawn to asia.o
Grew up with martial arts 8 years ld t 13. Then on and off though highschool and college. JKA. Dojo. Japanese words for movements. Bowing. Resect.
    Pure. Harmony. Honor
Asians in HI. Laugh on bus
    korean woman in Australia
Korean sign language in library in Brisbane, aus. Hysterical. Fun
Wanted t learn korean and Japanese, mainly Japanese, after aus 2009 first time, but lacked the self-discipline and focus and support
    G
I loved the ending too. How technology (the Gatling gun) indeed killed the samurai, but technology lost the war because tradition and bushido code was more valuable and truly won. I love that final line of finding that piece of peace that we all seek. I truly believe authentic peace is not found in distraction (gluttony, drugs, porn, indulgences that don’t involve Nature) but in self-discipline, focus, friendship, honoor, rich genuine culture, and one’s efficient and well-aligned utilization of time.

  • You ACCOMPLISH with The Internet! QUALITY
The platforms of Twitter, Instagram, soundcloud, and YouTube are the best cyberspace (all free) software. Jeepers, I love the Internet!‬
The internet brings together our species.
    No animal communicates like humans.
Birds communicative? I think not! Limited to the speed of sound. The internet uses packets of data traveling in the present moment through copper wire or fire optic cable. It’s electricity, mates. The internet thrives with electricity.
I love the internet! It’s one of the most magnificent achievements of mankind, of humankind, of OUR species!
Conclusion you can accomplish through the Internet!

  • Amplify Your Aim with the As-If Frame! - NLP
    As-If Frame
Amplify Your Aim with the As-if Frame!
Ultimately, the as-if frame is about experiencing what life will be like with a specific dream already occurring. The “as-If” frame is the ultimate “no holds barred” envisioning frame. It eliminates all logistics. While the “outcome” frame roots in a well-defined vision, the as-if frame really unlocks your ability to live that experience without worrying about logistical problems.
I like to interpret it as a “hijacked and over-clocked outcome frame” strongly influenced by the dreamer perspective. The as-if frame really utilizes the imagination, colors, dreaming, and creative capacity of the right hemisphere of the brain. Because the as-if frame so strongly utilizes imagination, the as-if frame is in many ways, the opposite of the problem or evidence frames, which utilize logic left-brained reasoning or judgment.
We addressed the girlfriend goal in the “outcome” frame, but just witness what happens when you not only remove logistics but expand your scope of what is potentially possible:
Here’s the “I want a girlfriend” used with the as-if frame:
I want my dream girlfriend and I to travel to Mexico and Australia. We could move to Mexico and then move to Australia! That sounds beautifully fun. The two best times of my life so far happened in Mexico, when I was 18, and then Australia, when I was 25 and 26. From snorkeling in Akumal and exploring the jungle in Quantana Roo, Mexico was superb, and Australia felt just like an upgrade to my life!
She should have blonde or dyed hair, beautiful meaningful tattoos, superb clean body, comfortable with her body, amazing performance sexually, fun, intelligent, and an upgrade to my life! And I'll do my best to reflect back to her those goals and dream-partner attributes!
Here's What I can fulfill her with. I've got intelligence and I’m fit (I workout) and I'm fun and friendly and handsome and sexy! I'm also a coach, so I can use my coaching to help us achieve our dreams.
That is my girlfriend with the as-if frame applied.
Notice how much more detailed it gets when you use an as-if frame? All these small nuances get filled in. In fact, that is beyond merely “detailed”! That is what I call overclocked! In computers, overclocking means amplifying the cpu up beyond the parameters of what it can do. It requires skill and knowledge, but it can be done safely. The as-if frame amplifies a visualization goal with the details anchored in because you aren’t fretting about “what-if” this, “what-if” that, and blockading your vision with troubling logistical qualms.
Additionally, do you understand how the outcome and as-if frames play with and each other? The outcome frame evolves into the as-if frame after the strong outcome is established. You can do a lot with the strong and resolute outcome frame and the overclocked as-if frame. Use them both! They are very valuable assets to your NLP toolset!

  • It is TIME, not Money, Honey! - Time Management
It’s the all about the efficient utilization of your time, not the amount of money you possess.
Time is invaluable.  The correct usage of time generates dream, fulfills fantasies into actuality, and catalyze change for success.
