    • 40. My Morning Routine: How Successful People Start Everday Inspired by Bejamin Spall and Michael Xander Book Review

My Morning Routine: How Successful People Start Everday Inspired by Bejamin Spall and Michael Xander contains a ton of morning routines from CEO's, entrepreneurs, authors, etc. Some of the moring routines like Arianna Huffington's I tried from this book to form my own morning routine. My advise on how to read this book: I wouldn't read the book cover to cover. Pick a couple morning routines to read about and try them out in your life. Morning routines are a personal choice, so you'll have to experiment to find out what works best for you. In this episode, I review this book, discuss about my morning routine, what I liked and disliked about the book, and any lessons I received from the book.

      • 39. LeBron's Dream Team by Lebron James Book Review

You can hate him, but he can play ball. Suprisingly, he hasn't got a severe injury yet (knock on wood). LeBron went to St. Vincent St. Mary High School, and this is what this book is about. LeBron's run toward a state championship with his high school teammates and one of the best basketball coaches I've worked with, Dru Joyce II. In this episode, I review this book, discuss what I liked and disliked about the book, and my thoughts on why LeBron isn't the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) yet.

The release of this book was announcef on Feb. 2nd 2022 with the marketing for Ant Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. In this episode, I discuss my thoughts on this book, and I rant on how awesome the Marvel movies are and why Ant Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is going to be an important movie to watch for the future Phases. I also talk about the way Spider-Man was saved by Disney or Marvel. Alright, I have to get back to watching Ant Man and The Wasp: Quantumania (comes out today), so I'll talk to you next Friday.

          • 37. A Season In The Sun by Lars Anderson Book Review

A Season In The Sun by Lars Anderson goes in full detail on the 2020-2021 season and how Tom Brady led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl (the National Football League championship). He provides this story without making it boring, and this is why Iiked the book so much. In this episode, I review the book, discuss what I liked and disliked about the book, and any lessons I received from the book. I also discuss about Tom Brady and how he is the greatest of all time (GOAT) quarterback. Lastly, I end the episode on my thoughts about his 'final' retirement.

            • 36. My Top 5 Favorite Books in 2022

In this episode, I discuss what my top five books were in 2022. I read 100 books in 2022, so it was hard to choose my top five. I do give 33 other notable nominees that almost made the list. My top five were: Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling; Waxing On by Ralph Macchio; I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy; Magnolia Story by Chip and Joanna Gaines; and Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The other notable mentions for the year are: all of the Hannah Swenson books (I read 26/28 in 2022) by Joanne Fluke; Everything I've Never Dreamed by Ruth Glenn; November 9th and It Starts With Us by Colleen Hoover; James Patterson by James Patterson; Butcher and The Wren by Alaina Urquart; The Last Ronin by Kevin Eastman; and Madly Deeply by Alan Rickman. All of these books are discussed in more detail in the episode, but I highly recommend each one. It's a wide assortment of everything, but I hope you enjoy. If you want to check out all 100 books I've read, check out my goodreads page at https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/58859323-johnnysbookreviews.

              • 35. I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy Book Review (Part 2)

Jennette McCurdy's book, I'm Glad My Mom Died, is a memoir about the struggle of becoming a child star. She discusses in full detail in the book on her mom's abuse, how she developed an eating disorder, and how becoming an actor wasn't her idea at all. In this episode, I discuss if I like the audio book or physical book more, talk about how child stars shouldn't happen, eating disorders, going to therapy, and what two novels Jennette McCurdy is working on right now. These new books are going to be fiction, but we don't really know what they are about yet. The release date for those books haven't been released yet, but I'm guessing they are coming out late 2023 (around August time) or early 2024.

                • 34. Waxing On by Ralph Macchio Book Review (Part 2)

Ralph Macchio, the Karate Kid, has a memoir over Karate Kid. This book doesn't contain much information about his life before Karate Kid. Majority of the book is about Karate kid. He discusses his moments with the actors he worked with like Pat Morita (Mr. Miyagi), fan theories that he disputes, and iconic scenes like the crane kick. I reviewed this book in more depth in the first episode (Part 1), so check that episode out. In this second part about this book, I discuss if I like the audiobook version or physcial book more, a quote from chapter six about 80's movies, how 80's movies changed cinematic history, and why I bought the signed book from Books-A-Million and how that led me to start collecting signed books.

                  • 33. Spare by Prince Harry (My Thoughts On This Book and If I'll Read It Or Not)

Prince Harry drops a new memoir today, January 10th, 2023. This is a highly anticipated release, and it might be the biggest book coming out in 2023. Prince Harry discusses a ton of information that has never been disclosed before. Ultimately, he risked his life and career writing this book and telling his story to the world. I've had the opportunity to read some parts of the book, and I actually wanted to continue reading the book. It was engaging, chapters are short, and has a ton of stories. In this episode, I discuss what I think about this release and if I'll read it or not.
