Reminders of Him is another romance book I'm reviewing from one of the top selling authors this year, Colleen Hoover. This one is over Kenna and Ledger and how they fall in love. Kenna has been in prison for a tragic mistake that occurred. Her husband, Scottie, died, and the baby Kenna had was taken from her before she entered prison. However, Kenna doesn't know that Ledger has been taking care of her daughter and that Ledger doesn't know the daughter is Kenna's. What will happen when he finds out? Will he forgive her or will he shut her out like everyone else? In this episode, I review the book, discuss what I liked and disliked abou the book, and lessons I recieved from the book.
Another Colleen Hoover book? Yep. Hoover's books have sold 10 million copies this year, so she's got my attention. I'm reading all 24 of her books. This book goes over a specific day, November 9th, over a period of six years. Ben and Fallon meet at a restaurant where Fallon was having lunch with her father. Ben breaks up the heated conversation between Fallon and her father, and it leads to both of them spending the day together. They both agree to only see each other on November 6th, but they can't talk to each other or text each other. They also block each other on social media. Will this work? After several years, Fallon finds out Ben's deep secret. Will she forgive him or will she leave him for good? In this episode, I review this book, discuss what I liked and disliked about the book, and any lessons I received from the book.

Robet Iger was the CEO of Disney for 15 years. He made some big changes to Disney when he was CEO: acquired Pixar, Lucasfilm's, Marvel, and parts of 21st Century Fox; made a streaming device called Disney+ with all their entities in one place; and geared Disney more internationally. Iger talks about all these things and more in this book. This is one of the best leadership/business books I've read. In this episode, I review the book, discuss what I liked and disliked about the book, and any lessons I received from the book.
Happy Halloween! For Halloween, I decided to go with a true crime book over a serial killer you might have never heard of. His name is Israel Keys. He killed all over the country for over a decade. He's still a mystery because he didn't disclose much information about some of his kills and then he committed suicide shortly after. Callahan's background as an investigative journalist made the book into a 299 pg. news article. I wanted to keep on reading this story. Callahan provides a ton of information and background while providing the art of story telling to disclose the information on how the police caught Keys. In this episode, I review the book, discuss what I liked and disliked about the book, and lessons I received from the book.
The first book, It Ends With Us, goes over Lily's relationship with Ryle who is abusive. This second book, It Starts With Us, goes over Lily recovering and fighting for the person she's wanted to date for a long time coming. The love between Atlas and Lily has never died down, and they have loved each other ever since high school. It's one of those high school romance stories that is very rare now a days. Lily and Atlas go their separate ways after high school, but they never stopped loving each other. Several years later, Atlas meets Lily at his restaurant while she's on a date with Ryle (first book). BAM. The kindle to the fire lights itself to a full blazing fire. Lily can't stop thinking about Atlas. She can't stop thinking about him even more when Ryle slaps her and pushes her down the stairs. Atlas helps Lily in the first book, but they go their separate ways again. Oh no. Atlas wasn't losing Lily again, so he starts talking to her and eventually starts dating her. You'll have to find out what happens next in this new book! In this episode, I review the book, discuss what I liked and disliked, and any lessons I received from the book.

In this episode, I review the book, discuss what I liked and disliked about the book, and any lessons I got from the book.

Majority of the book is about Karate kid. He discusses his moments with the actors he worked with like Pat Morita (Mr. Miyagi), fan theories that he disputes, and iconic scenes like the crane kick. In this episode, I review the book, discuss what I liked and disliked about the book, and any lessons I got from the book.
