  • 102. A Court of Thorns and Roses By Sarah J. Maas Book Review

Here we are. I've finally read this book. A Court of Thorns and Roses or ACOTAR is a book I was recommend to by a family member. However, I never got into it. After a year of seeing everyone buy it where I work, I had to finally cave in and read it in 2024. This is the first book in the five part fantasy series and discusses about Feyre. In this review, I'll take more about the book, author, and what I liked and disliked about the book.

Diary of Wimpy kid has sold over 290 million copies, and this series began with Diary of Wimpy Kid when I was in 7th grade. Now, book 19 is coming out October 22, 2024. In this episode, I'm going to discuss four lessons I received from this series. My plan is to do a deep dive over this series in 2024, so stay tuned for that.

  • 100. Caitlin Clark Limited Edition Book
No better way to celebrate the 100th episode than to talk about Caitlin Clark. Yesterday, she scored her 3,685th point, which puts her at number 1 for all time scoring for college basketball. Pearl Moore has the unofficial record of 4,061, which Clark probably won't pass. Because Clark broke the record and put a statement that women's basketball matters, Pediment Publishing is coming out with a book that honors her basketball journey and her journey on breaking the scoring record. It's a hardcover, coffee table, limited edition book. Here's the link for it if it's still available:

In this episode, I discuss more information about Clark and this book that is coming out May 17th, 2024.

  • 96. Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins Book Review
Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins took me a long time to read. It's been on my to be read list for at least three years, and I didn't pick up the book until now. I'm glad I did because it's a great book about his life and how he became so disciplined. In this episode, I talk about the book, provide my review over the book, and discuss what I liked and disliked about the book.

  • 95. How have I read 400 books in the last three years?
I've read 406 books in the last three years. That averages to roughly 135 books per year. By reducing one habit by 85%, I've been able to read more consistently. Because I read three to four hours daily and have been for the last 1,123 days, I'm going to read a lot of books. The important thing for me is to continue that consistency and keep reading daily by making sure I keep that one habits hours low. In this episode, I discuss this habit, so let's talk about it.

  • 94. Updated Reading Goal: Listening To More Audiobooks
Podcast episode are going to be on Monday's now. I've had to look at how I spent my time in 2023, and I wasn't optimizing a crucial time where I can listen to audiobooks, which was when I drive. I listened to them occassionally, but I would always go back to listening to the same five songs over and over again. In this episode, I discuss my plan to listen to more audiobooks and what I've listened to the past two weekends.
