Look Out For The Little Guy by Scott Lang was introduced in the beginning of the third ant man movie called Ant Man And the Wasp: Quantumania. I thought the book would be fake, but the movie prop is real and you can buy it at any bookstore, Walmart, or Target. I was hoping for the audiobook, but this hasn't been produced yet. Maybe soon, but we'll see. This book is about Scott Lang. It provides self-help advice with information about the events during Avengers: Endgame and his house arrest.
Dean Karnazes holds the record for the most miles run without stopping, which is around 350 miles. The story of how he started running was after a work event. He wanted something more in his life, so he laced up his shoes and ran a marathon without training. It was brutal, but he found his sport he loves. He started racing, and the media soon called him the ultramarathon man.
If you have a Fourth Wing hangover, this is the book for you. Assistant To The Villain comes out today, August 29th. It has a limited edition red sprayed edge. If you want this sprayed edge, you better get it because it will sell out. When it does, that's it. Red Tower, the publisher, isn't making any more of the sprayed edge. This book is a mix of the Office and Once Upon A Time, and it has a villain to lover trope, dragons, magic, and battle scenes.
Around 3 minutes, I provide my answer to the question: What's my favorite book I've read this year so far? Hint: it's sci-fi, one of the most popular books this year, and it has some crazy stuff in it.
Scooby-Doo's first episode was aired on Sep. 13th, 1969. Since then, we've had multiple shows, movies, and graphic novels over this series. In 2015, DC launched a new series called Scooby Apocalypse. In this series, the gang don't know each other until they all meet in the underground lab where Velma accidently formed a virus that causes people to turn into smart zombies. Thise series is based on survival, and it's geared toward adults. These graphic novels are hard to find due to limited print run, so here's the link to get them (you only can get the first one in paperback unless you want to spend $70+ on the others):

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover was the most sold book last year. Due to its popularity, Hoover decided a movie would help bring more awareness to people about domestic abuse. The movie comes out Feb. 9th, 2024, and I can't wait to go see it.
Writing Tools by Roy Clark contains 55 tips to become a more effective writer. I wouldn't read the book cover to cover, and I discuss this in more depth on why not in the episode. I'll also review the book, discuss what I liked and disliked about the book, and any lessons I received from the book.
Lore Olympus is the relationship between Persephone and Hades, so it's going to have greek mythology in the book. The book has a modern twist to it, which I enjoyed. This series has blown up in popularty due to Tik Tok. In this episode, I'll review this book, discuss what I like and disliked about the book, and the lesson I received from the storytelling.
It's the middle of the summer in Maine, and the prime season for lobster. Many people are lobstering early in the morning, and one of them has become a local legend. Her name is Virgina 'Lobster lady' Oliver. She's 103 years old and has been hauling lobster on her boat for seven decades. In this episode, I review this book, discuss what I liked and disliked, and any lessons I received from the book. I also discuss four foods you should try if you come visit Maine. These are Whoopie Pies, red hotdogs, Moxie, and Lobster (preferably a lobster roll).
Charlie Engle had a drug addiction. He decided to put his focus on ultramarathons (any distance above 26.2 miles), and he became sober. He has run in many races across the world, and the big one he did was across the Saraha Desert. In this episode, I review this book, discuss what I liked and disliked about the book, and any lessons I received from the book.
