(1:26) YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN (Jn. 3:1-16)

(0:05) There was a man from the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.

(0:14) This man came to him at night and said, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God, for no one could perform these signs you do unless God were with him." (0:34) Jesus replied, "Truly I tell you, unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (0:40) Respondió Jesús y le dijo: --De cierto, de cierto te digo que a menos que uno nazca de nuevo no puede ver el reino de Dios.

(0:47) "How can anyone be born when he is old? " Nicodemus asked him. "Can he enter his mother's womb a second time and be born? " (0:54) Nicodemo le dijo: --¿Cómo puede nacer un hombre si ya es viejo? ¿Puede acaso entrar por segunda vez en el vientre de su madre y nacer?

(1:02) Jesus answered, "Truly I tell you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. (1:09) Respondió Jesús: --De cierto, de cierto te digo que a menos que uno nazca de agua y del Espíritu, no puede entrar en el reino de Dios.

Whatever is born of the flesh is flesh, and whatever is born of the Spirit is spirit (1:23) Lo que ha nacido de la carne, carne es; y lo que ha nacido del Espíritu, espíritu es.

(1:29) Do not be amazed that I told you that you must be born again. (1:32) No te maravilles de que te dije: "Os es necesario nacer de nuevo."

The wind blows where it pleases, and you hear its sound, but you don't know where it comes from or where it is going. (1:52) "How can these things be? " asked Nicodemus (1:55) Respondió Nicodemo y le dijo: --¿Cómo puede suceder eso?

(1:59) "Are you a teacher of Israel and don't know these things? " Jesus replied.

Respondió Jesús y le dijo: --Tú eres el maestro de Israel, ¿y no sabes esto?

(2:07) "Truly I tell you, we speak what we know and we testify to what we have seen, but you do not accept our testimony (2:13) De cierto, de cierto te digo que hablamos de lo que sabemos; y testificamos de lo que hemos visto. Pero no recibís nuestro testimonio.

(2:22) If I have told you about earthly things and you don't believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things? (2:28) Si os hablé de cosas terrenales y no creéis, ¿cómo creeréis si os hablo de las celestiales?

(2:34) No one has ascended into heaven except the one who descended from heaven — the Son of Man.

Nadie ha subido al cielo, sino el que descendió del cielo, el Hijo del Hombre.

(2:44) "Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up (2:49) Y como Moisés levantó la serpiente en el desierto, así es necesario que el Hijo del Hombre sea levantado,

(3:02) For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life (3:12) Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo, que ha dado a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo aquel que en él cree no se pierda, mas tenga vida eterna.

THE WEDDING AT CANA (0:08)

On the third day a wedding took place in Cana of Galilee. Jesus's mother was there… "What does that have to do with you and me, woman? " Jesus asked. "My hour has not yet come."

Jesús le dijo: --¿Qué tiene que ver eso conmigo y contigo, mujer? Todavía no ha llegado mi hora.

"Do whatever he tells you," his mother told the servants. Su madre dijo a los que servían: --Haced todo lo que él os diga.

(1:14) "Fill the jars with water," Jesus told them. So they filled them to the brim.

Jesús les dijo: --Llenad de agua las tinajas. Y las llenaron hasta el borde.

Then he said to them, "Now draw some out and take it to the headwaiter." And they did.

Luego les dijo: --Sacad ahora y llevadlo al encargado del banquete. Se lo llevaron;

and told him, "Everyone sets out the fine wine first, then, after people are drunk, the inferior. But you have kept the fine wine until now."

y le dijo: --Todo hombre sirve primero el buen vino; y cuando ya han tomado bastante, entonces saca el inferior. Pero tú has guardado el buen vino hasta ahora.

(2:21) Jesus did this, the first of his signs, in Cana of Galilee. He revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.

Este principio de señales hizo Jesús en Caná de Galilea, y manifestó su gloria; y sus discípulos creyeron en él.

After this, he went down to Capernaum, together with his mother, his brothers, and his disciples, and they stayed there only a few days (2:46) Después de esto, él descendió a Capernaúm con su madre, sus hermanos y sus discípulos; y se quedaron allí no muchos días.

JESUS CLEANSES THE TEMPLE

(2:55) The Jewish Passover was near, and so Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

Estaba próxima la Pascua de los judíos, y Jesús subió a Jerusalén.

In the temple he found people selling oxen, sheep, and doves, and he also found the money changers sitting there.

Halló en el templo a los que vendían vacunos, ovejas y palomas, y a los cambistas sentados.

After making a whip out of cords, he drove everyone out of the temple with their sheep and oxen. He also poured out the money changers' coins and overturned the tables.

Y después de hacer un látigo de cuerdas, los echó a todos del templo, junto con las ovejas y los vacunos. Desparramó el dinero de los cambistas y volcó las mesas.

…(3:59) And his disciples remembered that it is written: Zeal for your house will consume me.

Entonces se acordaron sus discípulos que estaba escrito: El celo por tu casa me consumirá.

So the Jews replied to him, "What sign will you show us for doing these things?"

Los judíos respondieron y le dijeron: --Ya que haces estas cosas, ¿qué señal nos muestras?

Jesus answered, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it up in three days."

Respondió Jesús y les dijo: --Destruid este templo, y en tres días lo levantaré.

Therefore the Jews said, "This temple took forty-six years to build, and will you raise it up in three days? "

Por tanto los judíos dijeron: --Durante cuarenta y seis años se construyó este templo, ¿y tú lo levantarás en tres días?

(4:52) But he was speaking about the temple of his body.

Pero él hablaba del templo de su cuerpo.

So when he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the statement Jesus had made.

Por esto, cuando fue resucitado de entre los muertos, sus discípulos se acordaron de que había dicho esto y creyeron la Escritura y las palabras que Jesús había dicho.

JESUS KNOWS WHAT IS IN MAN

(5:17) While he was in Jerusalem during the Passover Festival, many believed in his name when they saw the signs he was doing.

Jesus, however, would not entrust himself to them, since he knew them all

BEHOLD, THE LAMB OF GOD (0:17)

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Here is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

This is the one I told you about: 'After me comes a man who ranks ahead of me, because he existed before me.'

I didn't know him, but I came baptizing with water so he might be revealed to Israel." Yo no le conocía; pero para que él fuese manifestado a Israel, por eso vine yo bautizando en agua.

(1:00) And John testified, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and he rested on him. Juan dio testimonio diciendo: --He visto al Espíritu que descendía del cielo como paloma, y posó sobre él.

I didn't know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water told me, 'The one you see the Spirit descending and resting on — he is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.'

I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God."

Yo le he visto y he dado testimonio de que éste es el Hijo de Dios.

JESUS CALLS THE FIRST DISCIPLES (1:42)

The next day, John was standing with two of his disciples.

Al día siguiente, de nuevo estaba Juan con dos de sus discípulos.

When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, "Look, the Lamb of God! "

Al ver a Jesús que andaba por allí, dijo: --¡He aquí el Cordero de Dios!

The two disciples heard him say this and followed Jesus.

When Jesus turned and noticed them following him, he asked them, "What are you looking for? " They said to him, "Rabbi" (which means "Teacher"), "where are you staying? "

Jesús, al dar vuelta y ver que le seguían, les dijo: --¿Qué buscáis? Y ellos le dijeron: --Rabí--que significa maestro--, ¿dónde moras?

"Come and you'll see," he replied. So they went and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about four in the afternoon.

Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, was one of the two who heard John and followed him.

He first found his own brother Simon and told him, "We have found the Messiah" (which is translated "the Christ"),

and he brought Simon to Jesus. When Jesus saw him, he said, "You are Simon, son of John. You will be called Cephas" (which is translated "Peter").

JESUS CALLS PHILIP AND NATHANAEL (3:36)

The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. He found Philip and told him, "Follow me." Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the hometown of Andrew and Peter. Felipe encontró a Natanael y le dijo: --Hemos encontrado a aquel de quien Moisés escribió en la Ley, y también los Profetas: a Jesús de Nazaret, el hijo de José.

"Can anything good come out of Nazareth? " Nathanael asked him. "Come and see," Philip answered.

(4:48) "How do you know me? " Nathanael asked. "Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you," Jesus answered.

Le dijo Natanael: --¿De dónde me conoces? Respondió Jesús y le dijo: --Antes que Felipe te llamara, cuando estabas debajo de la higuera, te vi.

"Rabbi," Nathanael replied, "You are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel! "

Le respondió Natanael: --Rabí, ¡tú eres el Hijo de Dios! ¡Tú eres el rey de Israel!

THE WORD BECAME FLESH (0:07)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.

Él era en el principio con Dios.

All things were created through him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created. En él estaba la vida, y la vida era la luz de los hombres. La luz resplandece en las tinieblas, y las tinieblas no la vencieron.

There was a man sent from God whose name was John. He came as a witness to testify about the light, so that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but he came to testify about the light. No era él la luz, sino que vino para dar testimonio de la luz.

(1:23) The true light that gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.

Aquél era la luz verdadera que alumbra a todo hombre que viene al mundo.

He was in the world, and the world was created through him, and yet the world did not recognize him. En el mundo estaba, y el mundo fue hecho por medio de él, pero el mundo no le conoció.

He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. A lo suyo vino, pero los suyos no le recibieron.

But to all who did receive him, he gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in his name. Pero a todos los que le recibieron, a los que creen en su nombre, les dio derecho de ser hechos hijos de Dios, los cuales nacieron no de sangre, ni de la voluntad de la carne, ni de la voluntad de varón, sino de Dios.

(2:18) The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We observed his glory, the glory as the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Y el Verbo se hizo carne y habitó entre nosotros, y contemplamos su gloria, como la gloria del unigénito del Padre, lleno de gracia y de verdad. (John testified concerning him and exclaimed, "This was the one of whom I said, 'The one coming after me ranks ahead of me, because he existed before me.' ")

Juan dio testimonio de él y proclamó diciendo: "Éste es aquel de quien dije: El que viene después de mí ha llegado a ser antes de mí, porque era primero que yo."

Indeed, we have all received grace upon grace from his fullness. Porque de su plenitud todos nosotros recibimos, y gracia sobre gracia. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. La ley fue dada por medio de Moisés, pero la gracia y la verdad nos han llegado por medio de Jesucristo.

No one has ever seen God. The one and only Son, who is himself God and is at the Father's side —he has revealed him.

A Dios nadie le ha visto jamás; el Dios único que está en el seno del Padre, él le ha dado a conocer.

THE TESTIMONY OF JOHN THE BAPTIST

Éste es el testimonio de Juan cuando los judíos le enviaron de Jerusalén unos sacerdotes y levitas para preguntarle: --¿Quién eres tú?

(3:48) He didn't deny it but confessed: "I am not the Messiah."

Él confesó y no negó, sino que confesó: --Yo no soy el Cristo.

"Who are you, then? " they asked. "We need to give an answer to those who sent us. What can you tell us about yourself? "

Le dijeron entonces: --¿Quién eres?, para que demos respuesta a los que nos han enviado. ¿Qué dices en cuanto a ti mismo?

He said, "I am a voice of one crying out in the wilderness: Make straight the way of the Lord — just as Isaiah the prophet said."

Dijo: --Yo soy la voz de uno que proclama en el desierto: "Enderezad el camino del Señor" como dijo el profeta Isaías. (4:51) So they asked him, "Why then do you baptize if you aren't the Messiah, or Elijah, or the Prophet? "

Le preguntaron y le dijeron: --¿Entonces, por qué bautizas, si tú no eres el Cristo, ni Elías, ni el profeta?

"I baptize with water," John answered them. "Someone stands among you, but you don't know him…Yo bautizo en agua, pero en medio de vosotros está uno a quien vosotros no conocéis. He is the one coming after me, whose sandal strap I'm not worthy to untie." Él es el que viene después de mí, de quien yo no soy digno de desatar la correa del calzado.

(0:08) Brothers and sisters, my heart's desire and prayer to God concerning them is for their salvation (0:13) Liebe Brüder, meines Herzens Wunsch ist, und ich flehe auch zu Gott für Israel, daß sie selig werden (0:22) Hermanos, el deseo de mi corazón y mi oración a Dios por Israel es para salvación.

(0:28) I can testify about them that they have zeal for God, but not according to knowledge (0:33) Denn ich gebe ihnen das Zeugnis, daß sie eifern um Gott, aber mit Unverstand (0:39) Porque yo les doy testimonio de que tienen celo por Dios, pero no de acuerdo con un conocimiento pleno.

(0:45) Since they are ignorant of the righteousness of God and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted to God's righteousness (0:53) Denn sie erkennen die Gerechtigkeit nicht, die vor Gott gilt, und trachten, ihre eigene Gerechtigkeit aufzurichten, und sind also der Gerechtigkeit, die vor Gott gilt, nicht untertan (1:06) Pues, ignorando la justicia de Dios y procurando establecer su propia justicia, no se han sujetado a la justicia de Dios.

(1:14) For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes (1:18)Denn Christus ist des Gesetzes Ende; wer an den glaubt, der ist gerecht (1:24)Porque el fin de la ley es Cristo, para justicia a todo aquel que cree.

THE MESSAGE OF SALVATION TO ALL

(1:30) Since Moses writes about the righteousness that is from the law: The one who does these things will live by them (1:36)Mose schreibt wohl von der Gerechtigkeit, die aus dem Gesetz kommt: "Welcher Mensch dies tut, der wird dadurch leben." (1:44)Moisés escribe de la justicia que es por la ley: El hombre que haga estas cosas vivirá por ellas.

(1:50) But the righteousness that comes from faith speaks like this: Do not say in your heart, "Who will go up to heaven? " that is, to bring Christ down (1:59) Aber die Gerechtigkeit aus dem Glauben spricht also: "Sprich nicht in deinem Herzen: Wer will hinauf gen Himmel fahren?" (Das ist nichts anderes denn Christum herabholen) (2:11)Pero la justicia que es por la fe dice así: No digas en tu corazón, "¿Quién subirá al cielo?" (esto es, para hacer descender a Cristo)

(2:20) or, "Who will go down into the abyss? " that is, to bring Christ up from the dead (2:25) Oder: "Wer will hinab in die Tiefe fahren?" (Das ist nichts anderes denn Christum von den Toten holen (2:32) ni "¿Quién descenderá al abismo?" (esto es, para hacer subir a Cristo de entre los muertos).

(2:38) On the contrary, what does it say? The message is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. This is the message of faith that we proclaim: (2:46) Aber was sagt sie? (3:31) One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation (3:38) Denn so man von Herzen glaubt, so wird man gerecht; und so man mit dem Munde bekennt, so wird man selig (3:46) Porque con el corazón se cree para justicia, y con la boca se hace confesión para salvación.

(3:52) For the Scripture says, Everyone who believes on him will not be put to shame (3:57) Denn die Schrift spricht: "Wer an ihn glaubt, wird nicht zu Schanden werden." (4:02) Porque la Escritura dice: Todo aquel que cree en él no será avergonzado.

(0:02) since there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, because the same Lord of all richly blesses all who call on him (0:12) Es ist hier kein Unterschied unter Juden und Griechen; es ist aller zumal ein HERR, reich über alle, die ihn anrufen (0:21) Porque no hay distinción entre judío y griego, pues el mismo que es Señor de todos es rico para con todos los que le invocan.

(0:40) How, then, can they call on him they have not believed in? And how can they believe without hearing about him? And how can they hear without a preacher? (0:49) Wie sollen sie aber den anrufen, an den sie nicht glauben? Wie sollen sie aber an den glauben, von dem sie nichts gehört haben? wie sollen sie aber hören ohne Prediger? (1:01) ¿Cómo, pues, invocarán a aquel en quien no han creído? ¿Y cómo creerán a aquel de quien no han oído? ¿Y cómo oirán sin haber quien les predique?

(1:10) And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news (1:17) Wie sollen sie aber predigen, wo sie nicht gesandt werden? Wie denn geschrieben steht: "Wie lieblich sich die Füße derer, die den Frieden verkündigen, die das Gute verkündigen!" (1:28) ¿Y cómo predicarán sin que sean enviados? (1:36) But not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our message? (1:41) Aber sie sind nicht alle dem Evangelium gehorsam. Denn Jesaja sagt: "HERR, wer glaubt unserm Predigen?" (1:50) Pero no todos obedecieron el evangelio, porque Isaías dice: Señor, ¿quién ha creído a nuestro mensaje?

(1:57) So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ (2:02) So kommt der Glaube aus der Predigt, das Predigen aber aus dem Wort Gottes (2:08) Por esto, la fe es por el oír, y el oír por la palabra de Cristo.

(2:13) But I ask, "Did they not hear? " Yes, they did: Their voice has gone out to the whole earth, and their words to the ends of the world (2:22) Ich sage aber: Haben sie es nicht gehört? (2:41) But I ask, "Did Israel not understand? " First, Moses said, I will make you jealous of those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that lacks understanding (2:52) Ich sage aber: Hat es Israel nicht erkannt? Aufs erste spricht Mose: "Ich will euch eifern machen über dem, das nicht ein Volk ist; und über ein unverständiges Volk will ich euch erzürnen (3:06) Pero pregunto: ¿Acaso no comprendió Israel? (3:18) And Isaiah says boldly, I was found by those who were not looking for me; I revealed myself to those who were not asking for me (3:26) Jesaja aber darf wohl so sagen: "Ich bin gefunden von denen, die mich nicht gesucht haben, und bin erschienen denen, die nicht nach mir gefragt haben. (3:44) But to Israel he says, All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and defiant people (3:51) Zu Israel aber spricht er: "Den ganzen Tag habe ich meine Hände ausgestreckt zu dem Volk, das sich nicht sagen läßt und widerspricht. (4:01) Pero acerca de Israel dice: Todo el día extendí mis manos a un pueblo desobediente y rebelde.

THE REMNANT OF ISRAEL

(0:06) I ask, then, has God rejected his people? Absolutely not! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin (0:16) So sage ich nun: Hat denn Gott sein Volk verstoßen? Das sei ferne! Denn ich bin auch ein Israeliter von dem Samen Abrahams, aus dem Geschlecht Benjamin (0:30) Por tanto pregunto: ¿Acaso rechazó Dios a su pueblo? ¡De ninguna manera! Porque yo mismo soy israelita, de la descendencia de Abraham, de la tribu de Benjamín.

(0:43) God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Or don't you know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah — how he pleads with God against Israel? (0:52) Gott hat sein Volk nicht verstoßen, welches er zuvor ersehen hat. Oder wisset ihr nicht, was die Schrift sagt von Elia, wie er tritt vor Gott wider Israel und spricht: (1:04) Dios no rechazó a su pueblo, al cual conoció de antemano. ¿O no sabéis lo que dicen las Escrituras en el caso de Elías, cuando consultó con Dios contra Israel? Dice:

(1:14) Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars. I am the only one left, and they are trying to take my life! (1:22) "HERR, sie haben deine Propheten getötet und deine Altäre zerbrochen; und ich bin allein übriggeblieben, und sie stehen mir nach meinem Leben"? (1:30) Señor, han matado a tus profetas y han derribado tus altares; y yo he quedado solo, y procuran quitarme la vida.

(1:39) But what was God's answer to him? I have left seven thousand for myself who have not bowed down to Baal (1:45) Aber was sagt die göttliche Antwort? "Ich habe mir lassen übrig bleiben siebentausend Mann, die nicht haben ihre Kniee gebeugt vor dem Baal." (1:54) Pero, ¿qué le dice la respuesta divina? He dejado para mí siete mil hombres que no han doblado la rodilla delante de Baal.

(2:01) In the same way, then, there is also at the present time a remnant chosen by grace (2:06) Also gehet es auch jetzt zu dieser Zeit mit diesen, die übriggeblieben sind nach der Wahl der Gnade (2:13) Así también, en este tiempo presente se ha levantado un remanente según la elección de gracia.

(2:18) Now if by grace, then it is not by works; otherwise grace ceases to be grace (2:24) Ist's aber aus Gnaden, so ist's nicht aus Verdienst der Werke; sonst würde Gnade nicht Gnade sein. (2:44) What then? Israel did not find what it was looking for, but the elect did find it. The rest were hardened (2:51) Wie denn nun? Was Israel sucht, das erlangte es nicht; die Auserwählten aber erlangten es. Die andern sind verstockt (3:00) ¿Qué, pues? Lo que Israel busca, eso no alcanzó, pero los elegidos sí lo alcanzaron; y los demás fueron endurecidos,

(3:08) as it is written, God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that cannot see and ears that cannot hear, to this day (3:15) wie geschrieben steht: "Gott hat ihnen gegeben eine Geist des Schlafs, Augen, daß sie nicht sehen, und Ohren, daß sie nicht hören, bis auf den heutigen Tag." (3:25) como está escrito: Dios les dio espíritu de estupor, ojos para no ver, y oídos para no oír, hasta el día de hoy.

(3:31) And David says, Let their table become a snare and a trap, a pitfall and a retribution to them (3:39) Und David spricht: "Laß ihren Tisch zu einem Strick werden und zu einer Berückung und zum Ärgernis und ihnen zur Vergeltung (3:47) Y David dice: Que su mesa se convierta en trampa y red, en tropezadero y retribución para ellos.

(3:53) Let their eyes be darkened so that they cannot see, and their backs be bent continually (3:58) Verblende ihre Augen, daß sie nicht sehen, und beuge ihren Rücken allezeit." (4:04) Que sus ojos se oscurezcan para no ver, y haz que su espalda se doblegue para siempre.

GENTILES GRAFTED IN

(0:17) I ask, then, have they stumbled so as to fall? Absolutely not! On the contrary, by their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel jealous ((0:29) So sage ich nun: Sind sie darum angelaufen, daß sie fallen sollten? Das sei ferne! Sondern aus ihrem Fall ist den Heiden das Heil widerfahren, auf daß sie denen nacheifern sollten (0:42) Pregunto pues: ¿Acaso tropezaron para que cayesen? ¡De ninguna manera! Más bien, con la transgresión de ellos ha venido la salvación a los gentiles, para que ellos sean provocados a celos.

(0:54) Now if their transgression brings riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fullness bring! (1:02) Denn so ihr Fall der Welt Reichtum ist, und ihr Schade ist der Heiden Reichtum, wie viel mehr, wenn ihre Zahl voll würde? (1:10) Y si su transgresión es la riqueza del mundo y su fracaso es la riqueza de los gentiles, ¡cuánto más será la plena restauración de ellos!

(1:17.5) Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. (1:38) if I might somehow make my own people jealous and save some of them (1:42)ob ich möchte die, so mein Fleisch sind, zu eifern reizen und ihrer etliche selig machen (1:48)por si de alguna manera pueda provocar a celos a los de mi carne y hacer salvos a algunos de ellos.

(1:53) For if their rejection brings reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead? (1:59)Denn so ihre Verwerfung der Welt Versöhnung ist, was wird ihre Annahme anders sein als Leben von den Toten? (2:07)Porque si la exclusión de ellos resulta en la reconciliación del mundo, ¡qué será su readmisión, sino vida de entre los muertos!

(2:14) Now if the firstfruits are holy, so is the whole batch. And if the root is holy, so are the branches (2:20) Ist der Anbruch heilig, so ist auch der Teig heilig; und so die Wurzel heilig ist, so sind auch die Zweige heilig (2:27)Si la primicia es santa, también lo es toda la masa; y si la raíz es santa, también lo son las ramas.

(2:35) Now if some of the branches were broken off, and you, though a wild olive branch, were grafted in among them and have come to share in the rich root of the cultivated olive tree (2:45) Ob aber nun etliche von den Zweigen ausgebrochen sind und du, da du ein wilder Ölbaum warst, bist unter sie gepfropft und teilhaftig geworden der Wurzel und des Safts im Ölbaum (2:57) Y si algunas de las ramas fueron desgajadas y tú, siendo olivo silvestre, has sido injertado entre ellas y has sido hecho copartícipe de la raíz, es decir, de la abundante savia del olivo,

(3:08) do not boast that you are better than those branches. But if you do boast — you do not sustain the root, but the root sustains you (3:16)so rühme dich nicht wider die Zweige. Rühmst du dich aber wider sie, so sollst du wissen, daß du die Wurzel nicht trägst, sondern die Wurzel trägt dich (3:25)no te jactes contra las demás ramas. Pero aunque te jactes en contra de ellas, no eres tú quien sustentas a la raíz, sino la raíz a ti.

(0:05) Then you will say, "Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in." (0:09) So sprichst du: Die Zweige sind ausgebrochen, das ich hineingepfropft würde (0:15) Entonces dirás: "Las ramas fueron desgajadas para que yo fuera injertado."

(0:19) True enough; they were broken off because of unbelief, but you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but beware (0:26) Ist wohl geredet! Sie sind ausgebrochen um ihres Unglaubens willen; du stehst aber durch den Glauben. Sei nicht stolz, sondern fürchte dich (0:35)Está bien; por su incredulidad fueron desgajadas. (0:44)because if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either (0:49) Hat Gott die natürlichen Zweige nicht verschont, daß er vielleicht dich auch nicht verschone (0:55) porque si Dios no perdonó a las ramas naturales, a ti tampoco te perdonará.

(0:58)Therefore, consider God's kindness and severity: severity toward those who have fallen but God's kindness toward you — if you remain in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off (1:11) Darum schau die Güte und den Ernst Gottes: den Ernst an denen, die gefallen sind, die Güte aber an dir, sofern du an der Güte bleibst; sonst wirst du auch abgehauen werden (1:23) Considera, pues, la bondad y la severidad de Dios: la severidad ciertamente para con los que cayeron; pero la bondad para contigo, si permaneces en su bondad. De otra manera, tú también serás cortado.

(1:36)And even they, if they do not remain in unbelief, will be grafted in, because God has the power to graft them in again (1:44) Und jene, so nicht bleiben in dem Unglauben, werden eingepfropft werden; Gott kann sie wohl wieder einpfropfen (1:50)Y ellos también, si no permanecen en incredulidad, serán injertados; porque Dios es poderoso para injertarlos de nuevo.

(1:59) For if you were cut off from your native wild olive tree and against nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these — the natural branches — be grafted into their own olive tree? (2:10) Denn so du aus dem Ölbaum, der von Natur aus wild war, bist abgehauen und wider die Natur in den guten Ölbaum gepropft, wie viel mehr werden die natürlichen eingepropft in ihren eigenen Ölbaum (2:24) Pues si tú fuiste cortado del olivo silvestre y contra la naturaleza fuiste injertado en el buen olivo, ¡cuánto más éstos, que son las ramas naturales, serán injertados en su propio olivo!

(0:43)Regarding the gospel, they are enemies for your advantage, but regarding election, they are loved because of the patriarchs (0:51) Nach dem Evangelium sind sie zwar Feinde um euretwillen; aber nach der Wahl sind sie Geliebte um der Väter willen (0:58) Así que, en cuanto al evangelio, son enemigos por causa de vosotros, pero en cuanto a la elección son amados por causa de los padres;

(1:05)since God's gracious gifts and calling are irrevocable (1:09) Gottes Gaben und Berufung können ihn nicht gereuen (1:13)porque los dones y el llamamiento de Dios son irrevocables.

(1:38) so they too have now disobeyed, resulting in mercy to you, so that they also may now receive mercy (1:44) also haben auch jene jetzt nicht wollen glauben an die Barmherzigkeit, die euch widerfahren ist, auf daß sie auch Barmherzigkeit überkommen (1:53) Asimismo, ellos han sido desobedientes en este tiempo, para que por la misericordia concedida a vosotros, también a ellos les sea ahora concedida misericordia.

(2:03) For God has imprisoned all in disobedience so that he may have mercy on all (2:07) Denn Gott hat alle beschlossen unter den Unglauben, auf daß er sich aller erbarme (2:13) Porque Dios encerró a todos bajo desobediencia, para tener misericordia de todos.

(2:18) Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments and untraceable his ways! (2:25)O welch eine Tiefe des Reichtums, beides, der Weisheit und Erkenntnis Gottes! Wie gar unbegreiflich sind sein Gerichte und unerforschlich seine Wege! (2:36) ¡Oh la profundidad de las riquezas, y de la sabiduría y del conocimiento de Dios! ¡Cuán incomprensibles son sus juicios e inescrutables sus caminos!

(2:44)For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor? (2:49) Denn wer hat des HERRN Sinn erkannt, oder wer ist sein Ratgeber gewesen? (2:54) Porque: ¿Quién entendió la mente del Señor? ¿O quién llegó a ser su consejero?

(2:59)And who has ever given to God, that he should be repaid? (3:02) Oder wer hat ihm etwas zuvor gegeben, daß ihm werde wiedervergolten? (3:07) ¿O quién le ha dado a él primero para que sea recompensado por él?

(3:10) For from him and through him and to him are all things. (3:29) To him be the glory forever. Amen (3:45) Denn von ihm und durch ihn und zu ihm sind alle Dinge. Ihm sei Ehre in Ewigkeit!
