DO NOT PASS JUDGMENT ON ONE ANOTHER

(1:10) Who are you to judge another's household servant? Before his own Lord he stands or falls. Er mag aber wohl aufgerichtet werden; denn Gott kann ihn wohl aufrichten (1:31) Tú, ¿quién eres que juzgas al criado ajeno? Para su propio señor está en pie o cae; pero será afirmado, porque poderoso es el Señor para afirmarle.

(1:42) One person judges one day to be more important than another day. Someone else judges every day to be the same. Let each one be fully convinced in his own mind (1:52) Einer hält einen Tag vor dem andern; der andere aber hält alle Tage gleich. Ein jeglicher sei in seiner Meinung gewiß (2:00) Mientras que uno hace diferencia entre día y día, otro juzga iguales todos los días. Cada uno esté convencido en su propia mente.

(2:10) Whoever observes the day, observes it for the honor of the Lord. Whoever eats, eats for the Lord, since he gives thanks to God; and whoever does not eat, it is for the Lord that he does not eat it, and he gives thanks to God (2:23) Welcher auf die Tage hält, der tut's dem HERRN; und welcher nichts darauf hält, der tut's auch dem HERRN. Welcher ißt, der ißt dem HERRN, denn er dankt Gott; welcher nicht ißt, der ißt dem HERRN nicht und dankt Gott (2:38) El que hace caso del día, para el Señor lo hace. El que come, para el Señor come, porque da gracias a Dios; y el que no come, para el Señor no come, y da gracias a Dios.

(2:50) For none of us lives for himself, and no one dies for himself (2:55) Denn unser keiner lebt sich selber, und keiner stirbt sich selber (2:59) Porque ninguno de nosotros vive para sí, y ninguno muere para sí.

(3:05) If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord (3:14) Leben wir, so leben wir dem HERRN; sterben wir, so sterben wir dem HERRN. Darum, wir leben oder sterben, so sind wir des HERRN (3:24) Pues si vivimos, para el Señor vivimos; y si morimos, para el Señor morimos. Así que, sea que vivamos o que muramos, somos del Señor.

(3:34) Christ died and returned to life for this: that he might be Lord over both the dead and the living (3:40) Denn dazu ist Christus auch gestorben und auferstanden und wieder lebendig geworden, daß er über Tote und Lebendige HERR sei (3:48) Porque Cristo para esto murió y vivió, para ser el Señor así de los muertos como de los que viven.

(3:54) But you, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or you, why do you despise your brother or sister? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God (4:04) Du aber, was richtest du deinen Bruder? Oder, du anderer, was verachtest du deinen Bruder? Wir werden alle vor den Richtstuhl Christi dargestellt werden (4:15) Pero tú, ¿por qué juzgas a tu hermano? O tú también, ¿por qué menosprecias a tu hermano? Pues todos compareceremos ante el tribunal de Dios.

(0:05) For it is written: As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow to me, and every tongue will give praise to God (0:12) denn es steht geschrieben: "So wahr ich lebe, spricht der HERR, mir sollen alle Kniee gebeugt werden, und alle Zungen sollen Gott bekennen (0:21) porque está escrito: Vivo yo, dice el Señor, que ante mí se doblará toda rodilla, y toda lengua confesará a Dios.

(0:30) So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God (0:34) So wird nun ein jeglicher für sich selbst Gott Rechenschaft geben (0:38) De manera que cada uno de nosotros rendirá cuenta a Dios de sí mismo.

DO NOT CAUSE ANOTHER TO STUMBLE

(0:44) Therefore, let us no longer judge one another. Instead decide never to put a stumbling block or pitfall in the way of your brother or sister (0:55) Darum lasset uns nicht mehr einer den andern richten; sondern das richtet vielmehr, daß niemand seinem Bruder einen Anstoß oder Ärgernis darstelle (1:05) Así que, no nos juzguemos más los unos a los otros; más bien, determinad no poner tropiezo, impedimento u obstáculo al hermano.

(1:15) I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is gemein/unclean in itself…

(1:45) For if your brother or sister is hurt by what you eat, you are no longer walking according to love. Do not destroy, by what you eat, someone for whom Christ died (1:55) So aber dein Bruder um deiner Speise willen betrübt wird, so wandelst du schon nicht nach der Liebe. Verderbe den nicht mit deiner Speise, um welches willen Christus gestorben ist (2:06) Pues si por causa de la comida tu hermano es contristado, ya no andas conforme al amor. No arruines por tu comida a aquel por quien Cristo murió.

(2:16) Therefore, do not let your good be slandered/Darum schaffet, daß euer Schatz nicht verlästert werde.

(2:28) for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (2:35) Denn das Reich Gottes ist nicht Essen und Trinken, sondern Gerechtigkeit und Friede und Freude in dem heiligen Geiste (2:43) porque el reino de Dios no es comida ni bebida, sino justicia, paz y gozo en el Espíritu Santo.

(2:51) Whoever serves Christ in this way is acceptable to God and receives human approval/Wer darin Christo dient, der ist Gott gefällig und den Menschen wert.

(2:05) So then, let us pursue what promotes peace and what builds up one another/Darum laßt uns dem nachstreben, was zum Frieden dient und was zur Besserung untereinander dient/Así que, sigamos lo que contribuye a la paz y a la mutua edificación.

(3:20) Do not tear down God's work because of food. Everything is clean, but it is wrong to make someone fall by what he eats.

Verstöre nicht um der Speise willen Gottes Werk. Es ist zwar alles rein; aber es ist nicht gut dem, der es ißt mit einem Anstoß seines Gewissens.

No destruyas la obra de Dios por causa de la comida. A la verdad, todas las cosas son limpias; pero es malo que un hombre cause tropiezo por su comida.

(3:49) It is a good thing not to eat meat, or drink wine, or do anything that makes your brother or sister stumble (3:55) Es ist besser, du essest kein Fleisch und trinkest keinen Wein und tust nichts, daran sich dein Bruder stößt oder ärgert oder schwach wird (4:03) Bueno es…hacer nada en que tropiece tu hermano.

(4:09) Whatever you believe about these…keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves (4:17) Hast du den Glauben, so habe ihn bei dir selbst vor Gott. (4:35) But whoever doubts stands condemned if he eats… everything that is not from faith is sin (4:43) Wer aber darüber zweifelt, und ißt doch, der ist verdammt; denn es geht nicht aus dem Glauben. Was aber nicht aus dem Glauben geht, das ist Sünde (4:53) Pero el que duda al respecto, es condenado si come, porque no lo hace con fe. Pues todo lo que no proviene de fe es pecado.

THE EXAMPLE OF CHRIST

(0:05) Now we who are strong have an obligation to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not to please ourselves (0:12) Wir aber, die wir stark sind, sollen der Schwachen Gebrechlichkeit tragen und nicht gefallen an uns selber haben (0:20) Así que, los que somos más fuertes debemos sobrellevar las flaquezas de los débiles y no agradarnos a nosotros mismos.

(0:27) Each one of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to build him up (0:32) Es stelle sich ein jeglicher unter uns also, daß er seinem Nächsten gefalle zum Guten, zur Besserung (0:39) Cada uno de nosotros agrade a su prójimo para el bien, con miras a la edificación.

(0:47) For even Christ did not please himself. On the contrary, as it is written, The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me (0:53) Denn auch Christus hatte nicht an sich selber Gefallen, sondern wie geschrieben steht: "Die Schmähungen derer, die dich schmähen, sind auf mich gefallen (1:03) Porque Cristo no se agradó a sí mismo; más bien, como está escrito: Las afrentas de los que te afrentaron, cayeron sobre mí.

(1:11) For whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that we may have hope through endurance and through the encouragement from the Scriptures (1:19) Was aber zuvor geschrieben ist, das ist uns zur Lehre geschrieben, auf daß wir durch Geduld und Trost der Schrift Hoffnung haben (1:28) Pues lo que fue escrito anteriormente fue escrito para nuestra enseñanza, a fin de que por la perseverancia y la exhortación de las Escrituras tengamos esperanza.

(1:37) Now may the God who gives endurance and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, according to Christ Jesus (1:44) Der Gott aber der Geduld und des Trostes gebe euch, daß ihr einerlei gesinnt seid untereinander nach Jesu Christo (1:52) Y el Dios de la perseverancia y de la exhortación os conceda que tengáis el mismo sentir los unos por los otros, según Cristo Jesús;

(2:00) so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with one mind and one voice (2:06) auf daß ihr einmütig mit einem Munde lobet Gott und den Vater unseres HERRN Jesu Christi (2:12) para que unánimes y a una sola voz glorifiquéis al Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

(2:18) Therefore accept one another, just as Christ also accepted you, to the glory of God (2:24) Darum nehmet euch untereinander auf, gleichwie euch Christus hat aufgenommen zu Gottes Lobe (2:31) Por tanto, recibíos unos a otros como Cristo os recibió para la gloria de Dios.

CHRIST THE HOPE OF JEWS AND GENTILES

(2:39) For I say that Christ became a servant of the circumcised on behalf of God's truth, to confirm the promises to the fathers (2:46) Ich sage aber, daß Jesus Christus sei ein Diener gewesen der Juden um der Wahrhaftigkeit willen Gottes, zu bestätigen die Verheißungen, den Vätern geschehen (2:57) Digo, pues, que Cristo fue hecho ministro de la circuncisión a favor de la verdad de Dios, para confirmar las promesas hechas a los patriarcas,

(3:06) and so that Gentiles may glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles, and I will sing praise to your name (3:16) daß die Heiden aber Gott loben um der Barmherzigkeit willen, wie geschrieben steht: "Darum will ich dich loben unter den Heiden und deinem Namen singen." CHRIST THE HOPE OF JEWS AND GENTILES (continued)

(0:05) Again it says (Deut. 32.43, 2 Sam. 22.50, Ps. 18.49) Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people! (0:10) Und abermals spricht er: "Freut euch, ihr Heiden, mit seinem Volk!" (0:16) Y otra vez dice: Alegraos, naciones, con su pueblo.

(0:21) And again, (Ps. 117.1) Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles; let all the peoples praise him! (0:25) Und abermals: "Lobt den HERRN, alle Heiden, und preiset ihn, alle Völker!" (0:31) Y otra vez: Alabad al Señor, todas las naciones; y ensalzadle, pueblos todos.

(0:38) And again, Isaiah (11.10) says: The root of Jesse will appear, the one who rises to rule the Gentiles; the Gentiles will hope in him (0:47) Und abermals spricht Jesaja: "Es wird sein die Wurzel Jesse's, und der auferstehen wird, zu herrschen über die Heiden; auf den werden die Heiden hoffen." PAUL THE MINISTER TO THE GENTILES

(2:30) to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest of the gospel of God. My purpose is that the Gentiles may be an acceptable offering, sanctified by the Holy Spirit (2:42) daß ich soll sein ein Diener Christi unter den Heiden, priesterlich zu warten des Evangeliums Gottes, auf daß die Heiden ein Opfer werden, Gott angenehm, geheiligt durch den heiligen Geist (2:55) para ser ministro de Cristo Jesús a los gentiles, ejerciendo el servicio sagrado del evangelio de Dios; y esto, con el fin de que la ofrenda de los gentiles sea bien recibida, santificada por el Espíritu Santo.

(0:47) by the power of miraculous signs and wonders, and by the power of God's Spirit. As a result, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum (0:59) durch Kraft der Zeichen und Wunder und durch Kraft des Geistes Gottes, also daß ich von Jerusalem an und umher bis Illyrien alles mit dem Evangelium Christi erfüllt habe (1:11) con poder de señales y prodigios, con el poder del Espíritu de Dios; de modo que desde Jerusalén hasta los alrededores del Ilírico lo he llenado todo con el evangelio de Cristo.

(1:21) My aim is to preach the gospel where Christ has not been named, so that I will not build on someone else's foundation (1:28) und mich sonderlich geflissen, das Evangelium zu predigen, wo Christi Name nicht bekannt war, auf daß ich nicht auf einen fremden Grund baute (1:38) De esta manera he procurado predicar el evangelio donde Cristo no era nombrado, para no edificar sobre fundamento ajeno,

PAUL'S PLAN TO VISIT ROME

(0:15) because Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem (0:21) Denn die aus Mazedonien und Achaja haben willig eine gemeinsame Steuer zusammengelegt den armen Heiligen zu Jerusalem (0:29) Porque Macedonia y Acaya tuvieron a bien hacer una ofrenda para los pobres de entre los santos que están en Jerusalén.

(1:11) So when I have finished this and safely delivered the funds to them, I will visit you on the way to Spain🇪🇸 (1:17) Wenn ich nun solches ausgerichtet und ihnen diese Frucht versiegelt habe, will ich durch euch nach Spanien ziehen (1:24) Así que, cuando haya concluido esto y les haya entregado oficialmente este fruto, pasaré por vosotros a España.

(2:43) and that, by God's will, I may come to you with joy and be refreshed together with you (2:50) auf daß ich mit Freuden zu euch komme durch den Willen Gottes und mich mit euch erquicke (2:57) para que al llegar a vosotros con gozo por la voluntad de Dios, encuentre descanso junto con vosotros.

A LIVING SACRIFICE

GIFTS OF GRACE

MARKS OF THE TRUE CHRISTIAN

(1:49) Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud; instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation (1:58) Habt einerlei Sinn untereinander.
