NO DESCIENDAN A EGIPTO (13:47)🇪🇬(0:16) "Ay de los hijos rebeldes", dice Jehovah, "por llevar a cabo planes pero no los míos, por hacer libaciones para sellar alianzas pero no según mi Espíritu, añadiendo pecado sobre pecado. (0:35) "Ellos parten para descender a Egipto…pero a mí no me han consultado. Pero la protección del faraón se os convertirá en vergüenza. Cuando sus magistrados estén en Tanis y sus embajadores lleguen a Hanes, (1:22) todos serán defraudados por un pueblo que no les servirá de nada."   

[Profecía acerca de los animales del Néguev:] "Por tierra de tribulación y angustia, de donde provienen la leona y el león, la víbora y la serpiente voladora, ellos llevan sobre los lomos de los asnos sus riquezas, y sobre las jibas de los camellos sus tesoros, hacia un pueblo que no les será de provecho. (2:28) Ciertamente los egipcios darán ayuda vana y vacía. Por tanto, he llamado a Egipto: ¡Rahab la inutilizada!  

UN PUEBLO REBELDE (3:26) "Ahora ven y escribe esta visión en una tablilla, delante de ellos. Grábala en un libro para que se conserve como testimonio perpetuo hasta el día final. (2:49) Porque este pueblo es rebelde, hijos mentirosos, hijos que no quieren escuchar la instrucción de Jehovah. Ellos han dicho a los videntes: 'No tengáis visiones'; y a los profetas: 'No nos profeticéis cosas rectas. Decidnos, más bien, cosas halagüeñas; profetizad cosas ilusorias. Apartaos del camino, desviaos de la senda; dejad de confrontarnos con el Santo de Israel.'" (4:02) Por tanto, así ha dicho el Santo de Israel: "Porque desechasteis esta palabra y confiasteis en la violencia y en la perversidad, y os habéis apoyado en ello, por eso, este pecado os será como muro agrietado que se abre y cae…tanto que entre sus pedazos no se halla un solo fragmento que sirva para sacar brasas de un brasero o para sacar agua de una cisterna."

(0:00) Porque así ha dicho el Señor Jehovah, el Santo de Israel (5:13): "En arrepentimiento y en reposo seréis salvos; en la quietud y en la confianza estará vuestra fortaleza." Pero no quisisteis. Más bien, dijisteis: "No, sino que huiremos a caballo." ¡Por tanto, vosotros sí huiréis! Dijisteis: "Sobre veloces caballos cabalgaremos." ¡Por tanto, también vuestros perseguidores serán veloces! Mil huirán ante la amenaza de uno. Huiréis ante la amenaza de cinco, hasta que quedéis como un asta sobre la cumbre de un monte o como una bandera sobre una colina.

EL SEÑOR TENDRÁ MISERICORDIA (6:30) (14:18) Por tanto, Jehovah espera para tener piedad de vosotros; por eso, se levanta para tener misericordia de vosotros. Porque Jehovah es un Dios de justicia, ¡bienaventurados son todos los que esperan en él!

(6:55) Ciertamente, oh pueblo de Sion que habitas en Jerusalén, nunca más volverás a llorar. De veras se apiadará de ti al oír la voz de tu clamor. Aunque el Señor os dé pan de congoja y agua de angustia, (7:30) tu Maestro nunca más se ocultará, sino que tus ojos verán a tu Maestro. Entonces tus oídos oirán a tus espaldas estas palabras: "¡Éste es el camino; andad por él, ya sea que vayáis a la derecha o a la izquierda!" Y considerarás inmundas tus imágenes de fundición revestidas de oro. Las tirarás como a trapo sucio; le dirás: "¡Fuera!" (8:22)

Entonces, cuando siembres la tierra, él dará lluvia a tu sembrado… (9:11) Y sucederá en el día de la gran matanza, cuando caigan las torres, que habrá arroyos, corrientes de agua, sobre todo monte alto y sobre toda colina elevada. La luz de la luna será como la luz del sol que será siete veces mayor, cuando Jehovah ponga vendas a la fractura de su pueblo y cure sus contusiones (9:46).

(10:17) He aquí que el nombre de Jehovah viene de lejos. Arde su furor y levanta densa humareda. Sus labios están llenos de ira, y su lengua es como fuego consumidor…(11:07) Pero vosotros tendréis una canción… (11:35). Porque Asiria será hecha pedazos…Jehovah descargará sobre ella será al son de panderos y de liras…hace tiempo está listo el Tófet; para el rey ha sido preparado…

DO NOT GO DOWN TO EGYPT (0:10) (6:21)

Woe to the rebellious children! This is the LORD's declaration. They carry out a plan, but not mine; they make an alliance, but against my will, piling sin on top of sin. Without asking my advice they set out to go down to Egypt in order to seek (0:57) shelter under Pharaoh's protection and take refuge in Egypt's shadow. But Pharaoh's protection will become your shame, and refuge in Egypt's shadow your humiliation. For though his princes are at Zoan and his messengers reach as far as Hanes, (1:18) everyone will be ashamed because of a people who can't help. They are of no benefit, they are no help; they are good for nothing but shame and disgrace.   

(1:29) A pronouncement concerning the animals of the Negev: Through a land of trouble and distress, of lioness and lion, of viper and flying serpent, they carry their wealth on the backs of donkeys and their treasures on the humps of camels, to a people who will not help them. (2:01) Egypt's help is completely worthless; therefore, I call her: Rahab Who Just Sits.

A REBELLIOUS PEOPLE (2:27) Go now, write it on a tablet in their presence and inscribe it on a scroll; it will be for the future, forever and ever. They are a rebellious people, deceptive children, children who do not want to listen to the LORD's instruction. (2:45) (3:14) They say to the seers, "Do not see," and to the prophets, "Do not prophesy the truth to us. Tell us flattering things. Prophesy illusions. Get out of the way! Leave the pathway. Rid us of the Holy One of Israel." (3:36) (3:58) Therefore the Holy One of Israel says: "Because you have rejected this message and have trusted in oppression and deceit, and have depended on them, this iniquity of yours will be like a crumbling gap, a bulge in a high wall whose collapse will come in an instant, suddenly! Its collapse will be like the shattering of a potter's jar, crushed to pieces, so that not even a fragment of pottery will be found among its shattered remains; no fragment large enough to take fire from a hearth or scoop water from a cistern."

(4:35) For the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said: (0:00) "You will be delivered by returning [repenting] and resting; (4:57) your strength will lie in quiet confidence. But you are not willing." (5:17) You say "No! We will escape on fast horses"; but those who pursue you will be faster. One thousand will flee at the threat of one, until you remain like a solitary pole on a mountaintop.

THE LORD WILL BE GRACIOUS (6:11) (6:44) (8:52) He’s waiting to show you mercy. All who wait patiently for him are happy. (6:38) He will show favor to you at the sound of your outcry; as soon as he hears, he will answer you. (7:07) The Lord will give you meager bread and water during oppression, but your Teacher will not hide any longer. Your eyes will see your Teacher, and whenever you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear this command behind you: "This is the way. Walk in it."

(7:34) Then you will defile your silver-plated idols and your gold-plated images. You will throw them away like menstrual cloths, and call them filth. Then he will send rain for your seed and the food, the produce of the ground, will be rich and plentiful. (8:19) Streams flowing with water will be on every high mountain and every raised hill on the day of great slaughter when the towers fall. The moonlight will be as bright as the sunlight when the LORD bandages his people's injuries and heals the wounds he inflicted.

(9:09) Look there! The LORD is coming from far away, his anger burning and heavy with smoke… (9:48) Your heart will rejoice singing like one who walks to the music of a flute, going up to the mountain of the LORD, to the Rock of Israel…Assyria will be shattered by the voice of the LORD…to the sound of tambourines and lyres…Topheth has been ready for the king for a long time. Its funeral pyre is deep and wide, the breath of the LORD kindles it like burning sulfur.

(5:34) (4:22) ASEDIO DE JERUSALÉN (0:35) (1:26)

(1:02) "¡Ay de Ariel, Ariel, la ciudad donde acampó David! Añadid año sobre año; que las fiestas se repitan tras su ciclo anual. Pero yo pondré a Ariel en aprietos, y será una ciudad de dolor y lamento; ella será para mí un Ariel. Porque contra ti acamparé en círculo; te sitiaré con muros de asedio y levantaré contra ti baluartes. Entonces, humillada hablarás desde la tierra, y tus dichos procederán del polvo hasta el cual habrás sido postrada. Tu voz subirá de la tierra como la de un fantasma; desde el polvo susurrará tu habla."

(1:44) La muchedumbre de tus enemigos será como polvo menudo, y la multitud de los tiranos como el tamo que vuela. (2:33) Esto sucederá repentinamente, en un momento. De parte de Jehovah de los Ejércitos serás castigada con truenos, con terremotos, con gran estruendo, con torbellino, con tempestad y con llama de fuego consumidor. (2:50) Entonces la multitud de todas las naciones que combaten contra Ariel y todos sus muros de asedio y sus baluartes, y los que la acosan serán como un sueño y una visión nocturna. Será como cuando el que tiene hambre sueña, y he aquí está comiendo; pero cuando despierta, su estómago está vacío. (3:09) Será como cuando el que tiene sed sueña, y he aquí está bebiendo; pero cuando despierta, se encuentra desfallecido, y su garganta está reseca. Así sucederá con la multitud de todas las naciones que combaten contra el monte Sion.

(3:55) Quedad asombrados y maravillaos; cegaos y quedad ciegos. Embriagaos, pero no con vino; tambaleaos, pero no con licor. Porque Jehovah ha derramado sobre vosotros espíritu de letargo. Ha cerrado vuestros ojos (a los profetas); ha cubierto vuestras cabezas (a los videntes). (4:43) Toda la visión será como las palabras de un libro sellado. Cuando lo dan al que sabe leer y le dicen: "Por favor, lee esto", él dice: "No puedo, porque está sellado." Y cuando dan el libro al que no sabe leer y le dicen: "Por favor, lee esto", él dice: "No sé leer."   

(0:00) Dice, pues, el Señor: "Porque este pueblo se acerca con su boca y me honra sólo con sus labios; pero su corazón está lejos de mí, y su temor de mí está basado en mandamientos de hombres (5:46). Por eso, he aquí que volveré a hacer maravillas con este pueblo, maravilla sobre maravilla. Entonces perecerá la sabiduría de sus sabios, y el entendimiento de sus entendidos se eclipsará."   

(6:17) ¡Ay de los que se esconden de Jehovah en lo profundo, encubriendo los planes! Realizan sus obras en las tinieblas, diciendo: "¿Quién nos ve?" y "¿Quién nos conoce?" (6:57) ¡Cómo trastornáis las cosas! ¿Acaso el alfarero será considerado como el barro? ¿Acaso lo que ha sido hecho dirá de quien lo hizo: "Él no me hizo"? ¿Dirá lo que ha sido formado del que lo formó: "Él no tiene entendimiento"?   

(7:08) ¿Acaso no será el Líbano convertido, de aquí a poco tiempo, en un campo fértil, y el campo fértil será considerado un bosque? (7:35) En aquel tiempo los sordos oirán las palabras del libro, y los ojos de los ciegos verán desde la oscuridad y las tinieblas. (7:52) Entonces los humildes volverán a alegrarse en Jehovah, y los más necesitados de los hombres se regocijarán en el Santo de Israel. (8:14) Porque se habrá acabado el tirano, y el burlador habrá sido exterminado. Serán eliminados todos los que están a la expectativa para hacer el mal, los que hacen pecar al hombre en palabra, los que ponen trampas para hacer caer al que amonesta en la puerta de la ciudad, los que con argumentos vacíos desvían al justo.   

(8:49) Por tanto, Jehovah, que redimió a Abraham, ha dicho así a la casa de Jacob: "Ahora Jacob no será avergonzado más, ni tampoco palidecerá ahora su rostro. Porque sus descendientes, al ver en medio suyo la obra de mis manos, santificarán mi nombre. Santificarán al Santo de Jacob y temerán al Dios de Israel. Los extraviados de espíritu conocerán el entendimiento, y los murmuradores aprenderán la lección.

THE SIEGE OF JERUSALEM (0:32)

(5:31) (7:32) Woe to Ariel, Ariel, the city where David camped! Continue year after year; let the festivals recur. I will oppress Ariel, and there will be mourning and crying, and she will be to me like an Ariel. I will camp in a circle around you; I will besiege you with earth ramps, and I will set up my siege towers against you. You will be brought down; you will speak from the ground, and your words will come from low in the dust. Your voice will be like that of a spirit from the ground; your speech will whisper from the dust.

(2:03) Your many foes will be like fine dust, and many of the ruthless, like blowing chaff. Then suddenly, in an instant, you will be punished by the LORD of Armies with thunder, earthquake, and loud noise, storm, tempest, and a flame of consuming fire. (2:44) All the many nations going out to battle against Ariel (all the attackers, the siege works against her, and those who oppress her) will then be like a dream, a vision in the night. It will be like a hungry one who dreams he is eating, then wakes and is still hungry; and like a thirsty one who dreams he is drinking, then wakes and is still thirsty, longing for water. So it will be for all the many nations who go to battle against Mount Zion.

(3:55) Stop and be astonished; blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunk, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with beer. For the LORD has poured out on you an overwhelming urge to sleep; he has shut your eyes (the prophets) and covered your heads (the seers).

(4:30) For you the entire vision will be like the words of a sealed document. If it is given to one who can read and he is asked to read it, he will say, "I can't read it, because it is sealed." And if the document is given to one who cannot read and he is asked to read it, he will say, "I can't read."

(5:18) The Lord said: These people approach me with their speeches to honor me with lip-service; yet their hearts are far from me, and human rules direct their worship of me. Therefore, I will again confound these people with wonder after wonder. The wisdom of their wise will vanish, and the perception of their perceptive will be hidden.

(6:24) Woe to those who go to great lengths to hide their plans from the LORD. They do their works in the dark, and say, "Who sees us? Who knows us? (6:53) "You have turned things around, as if the potter were the same as the clay. How can what is made say about its maker, "He didn't make me"? How can what is formed say about the one who formed it, "He doesn't understand what he's doing"?

(7:07) Isn't it true that in just a little while Lebanon will become an orchard, and the orchard will seem like a forest? (7:32) On that day the deaf will hear the words of a document, and out of a deep darkness the eyes of the blind will see. (7:42) The humble will have joy after joy in the LORD, and the poor people will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. For the ruthless one will vanish, the scorner will disappear, and all those who lie in wait with evil intent will be killed: those who, with their speech, accuse a person of wrongdoing, who set a trap for the one mediating at the city gate and without cause deprive the righteous of justice. (8:06)

(8:28) Therefore, the LORD who redeemed Abraham says this about the house of Jacob: Jacob will no longer be ashamed, and his face will no longer be pale. For when he sees his children, the work of my hands within his nation, they will honor my name, they will honor the Holy One of Jacob and stand in awe of the God of Israel. Those who are confused will gain understanding, and those who grumble will accept instruction.

JUICIO SOBRE EFRAÍN Y JERUSALÉN (0:00) ¡Ay de la corona de soberbia de los borrachos de Efraín y de la flor marchita de la hermosura de su gloria, que está sobre la cabeza de los que se glorían de la abundancia, de los aturdidos por el vino! Viene de parte de Jehovah alguien que es fuerte y poderoso. Derriba a tierra como tormenta de recias aguas que inundan. Con los pies será pisoteada la corona de soberbia de los borrachos de Efraín. Y la flor marchita de la hermosura de su gloria y abundancia será tragada como la fruta temprana.  

(2:11) En aquel día Jehovah de los Ejércitos será corona de hermosura y diadema de gloria para el remanente de su pueblo. Él será espíritu de justicia para el que preside el juicio, y de valor para los que vuelven el ataque hasta las puertas de la ciudad. (2:54) Pero también éstos han errado a causa del vino, y han divagado a causa del licor. El sacerdote y el profeta han errado a causa del licor; han sido confundidos a causa del vino, han errado en su visión y han titubeado en sus decisiones. Todas las mesas están llenas de vómito repugnante, hasta no quedar lugar limpio. (3:44) Dicen: "¿A quién enseñará conocimiento, o a quién hará entender el mensaje? ¿A los que recién han sido destetados? (4:36) ¡Ciertamente, con balbuceo de labios y en otro idioma hablará Dios a este pueblo! A ellos había dicho: "Éste es el reposo; dad reposo al cansado. Éste es el lugar de descanso." Pero ellos no quisieron escuchar. Por lo cual, la palabra de Jehovah para ellos será: "Mandato tras mandato, mandato tras mandato; línea tras línea, línea tras línea; un poquito allí, un poquito allí; para que vayan y caigan de espaldas y sean quebrantados, atrapados y apresados."  

PONGO PIEDRA ANGULAR EN SIÓN (5:45) (6:34) Así que, oh escarnecedores que gobernáis este pueblo en Jerusalén, escuchad la palabra de Jehovah. Porque habéis dicho: "Hemos realizado un pacto con la muerte; con el Seol hemos hecho un convenio. Cuando pase el torrente arrollador, no llegará a nosotros; porque hemos puesto al engaño como nuestro refugio, y en la mentira nos hemos escondido." Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehovah: "He aquí que yo pongo como cimiento en Sion una piedra, una piedra probada. Una preciosa piedra angular es puesta como cimiento. El que crea no se apresure. Pondré el derecho por cordel y la justicia por nivel. El granizo barrerá el refugio del engaño, y las aguas inundarán su escondrijo. Entonces vuestro pacto con la muerte será anulado, y vuestro convenio con el Seol no prevalecerá. Cuando pase el torrente arrollador, seréis aplastados por él, de día y de noche. (7:45) Entonces entender el mensaje sólo traerá terror." La cama es demasiado corta para estirarse sobre ella, y la manta es demasiado estrecha para envolverse en ella. (8:47) Porque Jehovah se levantará como en el monte Perazim, y se enardecerá como en el valle de Gabaón, para hacer su obra, su rara obra; para hacer su trabajo, su extraño trabajo. Ahora pues, no sigáis haciendo escarnio, para que no se aprieten más vuestras ataduras. Porque he oído, de parte del Señor Jehovah de los Ejércitos, que sobre toda la tierra ha sido decretada la destrucción.   

(9:38) Estad atentos y escuchad mi voz; prestad atención y escuchad mi dicho: ¿Acaso para sembrar, el labrador sólo ara, rompe y deshace los terrones de tierra durante todo el día? Después de haber emparejado la superficie, ¿no esparce el eneldo, arroja el comino y pone el trigo en franjas, la cebada en su lugar y el centeno en el borde? Su Dios le enseña y le instruye en cuanto a lo que es correcto: que el eneldo no se trilla con el trillo, ni sobre el comino se hace rodar la rueda de la carreta; sino que el eneldo se golpea con un palo, y el comino con una vara. Por cierto, no se muele el grano indefinidamente, ni se lo trilla sin fin. Pero haciendo pasar la rueda de la carreta, lo esparce y no lo tritura. También esto procede de Jehovah de los Ejércitos, maravilloso en designios y grande en logros.

JUDGMENT ON EPHRAIM AND JERUSALEM (0:41) (5:22) [CSB] Woe to the majestic crown of Ephraim's drunkards, and to the fading flower of its beautiful splendor, which is on the summit above the rich valley. Woe to those overcome with wine. Look, the Lord has a strong and mighty one, like a devastating hail storm, like a storm with strong flooding water across the land. The majestic crown of Ephraim's drunkards will be trampled underfoot. The fading flower of his pride, which is on the summit above the rich valley, will be like a ripe fig before the summer harvest. Whoever sees it will swallow it while still in his hand.

(1:42) On that day the LORD of Armies will become a crown of beauty and a diadem of splendor to the remnant of his people, a spirit of justice to the one who sits in judgment, and strength to those who repel attacks at the city gate.   

(2:51) Even these stagger because of wine and stumble under the influence of beer: priest and prophet stagger because of beer, they are confused by wine. They stumble because of beer, they are muddled in their visions, they stumble in their judgments. Indeed, all their tables are covered with vomit; there is no place without a stench.   

Who is he trying to teach? Who is he trying to instruct? Infants just weaned from milk? Babies removed from the breast? "Law after law, law after law, line after line, line after line, a little here, a little there." (3:31) For he will speak to this people with stammering speech and in a foreign language. He had said to them: "This is the place of rest; let the weary rest; this is the place of repose." But they would not listen. The word of the LORD will come to them: "Law after law…a little here, a little there," so they go stumbling backward, to be broken, trapped, and captured.  

A CORNERSTONE IN ZION (4:57)

Therefore hear the word of the LORD, you scoffers who rule this people in Jerusalem. For you said, "We have made a covenant with Death, and we have an agreement with Sheol; when the overwhelming catastrophe passes through, it will not touch us, because we have made falsehood our refuge and have hidden behind treachery." Therefore the Lord GOD said: "Look, I have laid a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; the one who believes will be unshakable. And I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the mason's level." Hail will sweep away the false refuge, and water will flood your hiding place. Your covenant with Death will be dissolved, and your agreement with Sheol will not last. When the overwhelming catastrophe passes through, you will be trampled. Every time it passes through, it will carry you away; it will pass through every morning (every day and every night). Only terror will cause you to understand the message. (7:13) Indeed, the bed is too short to stretch out on, and its cover too small to wrap up in. For the LORD will rise up as he did at Mt. Perazi. He will rise in wrath, as at the Valley of Gibeon, to do his work, his unexpected work, and to perform his task, his unfamiliar task. So now, do not scoff, or your shackles will become stronger. Indeed, I’ve heard from the Lord GOD of Armies a decree of destruction for the whole land.   

(8:42) Listen and hear my voice. Pay attention to what I say. Does the plowman plow every day to plant seed? Does he continuously break up and cultivate the soil? When he has leveled its surface, does he not then scatter black cumin and sow cumin? He plants wheat in rows and barley in plots, with spelt as their border. (9:27) His God teaches him order; he instructs him. Certainly black cumin is not threshed with a threshing board, and a cart wheel is not rolled over the cumin. But black cumin is beaten out with a stick, and cumin with a rod. Bread grain is crushed, but is not threshed endlessly. Though the wheel of the farmer's cart rumbles, his horses do not crush it. This also comes from the LORD of Armies. He gives wondrous advice; he gives great wisdom.

LA REDENCIÓN DE ISRAEL (1:09) En aquel día el SEÑOR visitará con su espada dura, grande y fuerte, sobre el leviatán, serpiente huidora (0:00), y sobre el leviatán serpiente retuerta; y (0:25) matará al dragón que está en el mar. (RVA) En aquel día Jehovah castigará con su espada dura, grande y fuerte, al Leviatán, la serpiente furtiva, al Leviatán, la serpiente tortuosa; y matará también al monstruo que está en el mar. En aquel día cantad de la viña del vino rojo. "En aquel día ésta será la viña hermosa. ¡Cantadle! (1:00) Yo, el SEÑOR, la guardo, cada momento la regaré; la guardaré de noche y de día, para que el enemigo no la visite. [Yo, Jehovah, la guardo. A cada momento la riego; y para que nadie la dañe, de día y de noche la guardo.] No hay en mí enojo. ¿Quién pondrá contra mí en batalla espinas y cardos? Yo los hollaré, los quemaré juntamente. Ya no hay furor en mí. (1:43) ¿Quién pondrá contra mí espinos y cardos en batalla? Yo irrumpiré contra ellos y los quemaré a una, salvo que se acoja a mi amparo y haga la paz conmigo. ¡Que conmigo haga la paz!" [¿O quién forzará mi fortaleza? Haga conmigo paz, sí, haga paz conmigo. Días vendrán cuando Jacob echará raíces, florecerá y echará renuevos Israel, y la faz del mundo se llenará de fruto.] (2:03) Vendrá el día en que Jacob echará raíces; Israel echará botones y dará flores. Y llenarán la superficie del mundo con su fruto. (2:22)

¿Acaso ha sido herido como quien lo hirió? ¿O ha sido muerto como los que lo mataron? Con medida la castigarás en sus vástagos. Él reprime su recio viento en el día del aire solano. [¿Acaso le ha herido a la manera del que lo hirió? ¿Acaso ha sido muerto a la manera de los que lo mataron? Con expulsión, enviándola lejos, tú contendiste contra ella. Tú la apartaste con tu recio viento en el día del solano.]

(2:51) Por tanto, de esta manera pues, será purgada la iniquidad de Jacob; y éste será todo el fruto, la remoción de su pecado; cuando tornare todas las piedras del altar, como piedras de cal desmenuzadas, para que no se levanten los bosques, ni las imágenes del sol.

(3:27) De esta manera, será perdonada la iniquidad de Jacob, y esto eliminará su pecado: que él ponga todas las piedras del altar como piedras de cal desmenuzadas, de modo que no vuelvan a levantar árboles rituales de Asera ni altares de incienso. De otra manera la ciudad fortalecida será asolada; la morada será desamparada, y dejada como un desierto; allí se apacentará el becerro, allí tendrá su majada, y acabará sus ramas. [Ciertamente la ciudad fortificada ha quedado solitaria; la morada, abandonada y dejada como un desierto. Allí pasta el becerro; allí se recuesta y consume sus ramas.]

(4:08) Cuando sus ramas se secaren, serán quebradas, mujeres vendrán a encenderla; porque aquél no es pueblo de entendimiento. Por tanto su Hacedor no tendrá de él misericordia, ni se compadecerá de él el que lo formó. [Cuando sus ramas se secan, son quebradas; luego las mujeres vienen y las hacen arder. (4:34) Porque éste es un pueblo sin entendimiento. Por tanto, su Hacedor no tendrá de él misericordia; el que lo formó no se compadecerá.] Y acontecerá en aquel día, que herirá el SEÑOR desde el álveo del río Eufrates hasta el río de Egipto, y vosotros, hijos de Israel, seréis ayuntados uno a uno. (5:03) Pero sucederá en aquel día que Jehovah golpeará con vara, desde la corriente del Río hasta el arroyo de Egipto. Y vosotros, oh hijos de Israel, seréis recogidos uno por uno. (5:26) Acontecerá también en aquel día, que habrá tañido con gran voz de trompeta; y vendrán los que habían sido esparcidos en la tierra de Asiria, y los que habían sido echados en tierra de Egipto, y adorarán al SEÑOR en el Monte santo, en Jerusalén. [Sucederá en aquel día que se tocará una gran corneta, y vendrán los que habían estado perdidos en la tierra de Asiria y los que habían sido desterrados en la tierra de Egipto. Entonces adorarán a Jehovah en el monte santo, en Jerusalén.]

(1:16) (4:23) THE REDEMPTION OF ISRAEL (1:49)

(0:00) At that time the Lord will punish with his destructive, great, and powerful sword Leviathan the fast-moving serpent, Leviathan the squirming serpent; he will kill the sea monster. (0:25) When that time comes, sing about a delightful vineyard! (0:37) In that day the Lord, with his great and strong and cruel sword, will send punishment on Leviathan, the quick-moving snake, and on Leviathan, the twisted snake; and he will put to death the dragon which is in the sea. In that day it will be said: A vine-garden of delight, make a song about it. (0:52) I, the Lord, protect it; I water it regularly. I guard it night and day, so no one can harm it. [I, the Lord, am watching it; I will give it water at all times: I will keep it night and day, for fear that any damage comes to it.]

(1:21) I am not angry. I wish I could confront some thorns and briers! Then I would march against them for battle; I would set them all on fire, unless they became my subjects and made peace with me; let them make peace with me. (1:36) My passion is over: if the thorns were fighting against me, I would make an attack on them, and they would be burned up together. Or let him put himself under my power, and make peace with me. (1:49) The time is coming when Jacob will take root; Israel will blossom and grow branches. The produce will fill the surface of the world. (2:03) In days to come Jacob will take root: Israel will put out buds and flowers; and the face of the world will be full of fruit.

(2:15) Has the Lord struck down Israel like he did their oppressors? Has Israel been killed like their enemies? When you summon her for divorce, you prosecute her; he drives her away with his strong wind in the day of the east wind. So in this way Jacob's sin will be forgiven… (2:33) Is his punishment like the punishment of those who overcame him? Your anger against her has been made clear by driving her away. (2:47) So in this way Jacob's sin will be forgiven, and this is how they will show they are finished sinning: They will make all the stones of the altars like crushed limestone, and the Asherah poles and the incense altars will no longer stand. (2:56) This is all the fruit of taking away his punishment; when all the stones of the altar are crushed together, so that the wood pillars and the sun-images will not be put up again.

(3:19) For the fortified city is left alone; it is a deserted settlement and abandoned like the desert. Calves graze there; they lie down there and eat its branches bare. When its branches get brittle, they break; women come and use them for kindling. (3:35) For the strong town is without men, an unpeopled living-place; and she has become a waste land: there the young ox will take his rest, and its branches will be food for him. (3:49) For these people lack understanding, therefore the one who made them has no compassion on them; the one who formed them has no mercy on them. (3:30) For it is a foolish people; for this cause he who made them will have no mercy on them, and he whose work they are will not have pity on them.

(3:51) At that time the Lord will shake the tree, from the Euphrates River to the Stream of Egypt. Then you will be gathered up one by one, O Israelites. (4:08) And it will be in that day that the Lord will get together his grain, from the River to the stream of Egypt, and you will be got together with care, O children of Israel.

(4:29) At that time a large trumpet will be blown, and the ones lost in the land of Assyria will come, as well as the refugees in the land of Egypt. They will worship the Lord on the holy mountain in Jerusalem. (4:42) And it will be in that day that a great horn will be sounded; and those who were wandering in the land of Assyria, and those who had been sent away into the land of Egypt, will come; and they will give worship to the Lord in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.

TÚ GUARDARÁS EN PERFECTA PAZ (0:41)

(0:00) En aquel día cantarán este cantar en tierra de Judá: Fuerte ciudad tenemos; salud puso Dios por muros y antemuro. Abrid las puertas, y entrará la gente justa, guardadora de verdades. [Dios ha puesto la salvación como muros y antemuros. Abrid las puertas, y entrará la nación justa que guarda la fidelidad.]

(0:41) Tú guardarás en completa paz a aquel cuyo pensamiento en ti persevera, porque en ti ha confiado. Confiad en el SEÑOR perpetuamente, porque en JAH, el SEÑOR está la fortaleza de los siglos, Él es la Roca de la eternidad. Porque él derribó a los que moraban en lugar sublime; humilló a la ciudad ensalzada, la humilló hasta la tierra, la derribó hasta el polvo. (1:24) El pie la pisoteará, los pies de los afligidos, los pasos de los necesitados. El camino del justo es rectitud; (1:42) Tú, que eres recto, allana la senda del justo. Aun en el camino de tus juicios, oh SEÑOR, te esperamos, a tu nombre y a tu memoria es el deseo del alma. (1:58) Ciertamente, siguiendo el camino de tus juicios te hemos esperado, oh Jehovah; tu nombre y tu memoria son el deseo de nuestra alma. (2:03) Con mi alma te deseo en la noche, y entre tanto que me dure el espíritu en medio de mí, madrugaré a buscarte; porque desde que hay juicios tuyos en la tierra, los moradores del mundo aprenden justicia. (2:15) Mi alma te espera en la noche; mientras haya aliento en mí, madrugaré a buscarte. Porque cuando tus juicios se manifiestan en la tierra, los habitantes del mundo aprenden justicia.

(2:29) Aunque se le tenga piedad al impío, no aprende justicia; (2:44) en tierra de rectitud hace iniquidad y no considera la majestad de Jehovah. SEÑOR, cuando se levante tu mano, no verán; verán al cabo, y se avergonzarán con celo del pueblo. Y a tus enemigos fuego los consumirá. [Levantada está tu mano, pero ellos no la ven. (3:03) Que vean el celo por tu pueblo y se avergüencen].

(3:16) SEÑOR, tú nos depararás paz; porque también obraste en nosotros todas nuestras obras. [Oh Jehovah, tú estableces paz para nosotros, (3:28) porque también realizas por nosotros todas nuestras obras.] (3:45) Oh Jehovah, Dios nuestro, otros amos aparte de ti se han enseñoreado de nosotros; pero sólo reconocemos tu nombre, el tuyo. (3:53) Muertos son, no vivirán; han fallecido; no no resucitarán. (4:13) Porque tú los has castigado y los has destruido; has hecho perecer todo recuerdo de ellos.

(4:25) Tú has engrandecido la nación, oh Jehovah; has engrandecido la nación y te has hecho glorioso. Has ensanchado todas las fronteras del país (4:46). SEÑOR, en la tribulación te buscaron, derramaron oración cuando los castigaste. (5:06) Como la mujer encinta y cercana a dar a luz que se retuerce y grita en sus dolores, así hemos sido delante de ti, oh Jehovah. (5:15) Concebimos, tuvimos dolores de parto, parimos como viento; salud ninguna hicimos en la tierra, ni cayeron los moradores del mundo. (5:36) Fue como si diéramos a luz viento. Ninguna liberación hemos logrado en la tierra, ni han podido nacer los habitantes del mundo.

(5:58) Tus muertos volverán a vivir; los cadáveres se levantarán. ¡Despertad y cantad, oh moradores del polvo! Porque tu rocío es como rocío de luces, y la tierra dará a luz a sus fallecidos. [Tus muertos vivirán, y junto con mi cuerpo resucitarán… (6:11) tu rocío es cual cubierta de luz; y la tierra echará los muertos.]

(6:32) Anda, oh pueblo mío, entra en tus habitaciones; cierra tras de ti tus puertas. Escóndete por un breve momento hasta que pase la ira. [Entra en tus aposentos, cierra tras ti tus puertas; escóndete un poquito entre tanto que pasa la ira.] (6:48) Porque he aquí que Jehovah sale de su lugar, para castigar la maldad de los habitantes de la tierra contra él. La tierra dejará ver su sangre derramada; no encubrirá más a sus asesinados. [Porque he aquí, que el SEÑOR sale de su lugar, (7:01) para visitar la maldad del morador de la tierra contra él; y la tierra descubrirá su sangre, y no encubrirá más sus muertos]

(0:48) YOU KEEP HIM IN PERFECT PEACE (0:05) whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock…(0:18) At that time this song will be sung in the land of Judah: "We have a strong city! The Lord's deliverance, like walls and a rampart, makes it secure. He will make salvation our walls and towers. (1:05) Open the gates so a righteous nation can enter, one that remains trustworthy. You keep completely safe the people who maintain their faith, for they trust in you. (1:22) The man whose heart is unmoved you will keep in peace, because his hope is in you.” Let your hope be in the Lord for ever: for the Lord Jah is an unchanging Rock. Trust in the Lord from this time forward, even in Yah, the Lord, an enduring protector! 

(1:30) For he has made low those who are lifted up, all the people of the town of pride: he makes it low, crushing it down to the earth; he makes it low in the dust. It will be crushed under the feet of the poor and the steps of those who are in need. Indeed, (1:43) the Lord knocks down those who live in a high place by the feet of the oppressed, by the soles of the poor.

(1:58) The way of the good man is straight; the road of the upright is made smooth by you. Yes, as your judgments unfold, (2:14) O Lord, we wait for you. We desire your fame and reputation to grow. (2:22) We have been waiting for you, O Lord; the desire of our soul is for the memory of your name. (2:28) I look for you during the night, my spirit within me seeks you at dawn, for when your judgments come upon the earth, those who live in the world learn about justice.

(2:36) Even if you are kind to the evil-doer, they do not learn about justice. Even in a land where right is rewarded, they act unjustly; they do not see the Lord 's majesty revealed. O Lord, you are ready to act (3:21), but they don't even notice. They will see and be put to shame by your angry judgment against humankind, yes, fire will consume your enemies.

(3:41) O Lord, you make us secure, for even all we have accomplished, you have done for us. Lord, you will give us peace: for all our works are the outcome of your purpose. O Lord, our God, masters other than you have ruled us, but we praise your name alone. (4:02) In you only is our salvation, and no other name will we take on our lips. (4:21) The dead do not come back to life, the spirits of the dead do not rise. That is because you came in judgment and destroyed them, you wiped out all memory of them.

(4:44) You have made the nation great, O Lord, you have made it great; glory is yours: you have made wide the limits of the land. (5:04) O Lord, in distress they looked for you; they uttered incantations because of your discipline. Lord, in trouble our eyes have been turned to you, we sent up a prayer when your punishment was on us. (5:20) As a woman with child, whose time is near, is troubled, crying out in her pain; so have we been before you, O Lord. (5:37) We were pregnant, we strained, we gave birth, as it were, to wind. We cannot produce deliverance on the earth; people to populate the world are not born. (5:44) No salvation has come to the earth through us, and no children have come into the world. (5:57) Your dead will come back to life; your corpses will rise up. Wake up and shout joyfully, you who live in the ground! For you will grow like plants drenched with the morning dew, and the earth will bring forth its dead spirits. Their dead bodies will come to life again. (6:12) Those in the dust, awaking from their sleep, will send out a song; for your dew is a dew of light, and the earth will give birth to the shades.

(6:53) Go, my people! Enter your inner rooms! Close your doors behind you! Hide for a little while, until his angry judgment is over! (7:03) For look, the Lord is coming out of the place where he lives, to punish the sin of those who live on the earth. The earth will display the blood shed on it; it will no longer cover up its slain.
