Jon continues hour two by talking all things Atlanta Falcons with Tori McElhaney of the Athletic. Jon starts things off by asking Tori what’s the injury report looking like for the Falcons, especially Julio Jones. Tori responds by basically saying that Todd’s hamstring is still bothering him, and we’ll see how it looks after a few days “and the same goes for Julio Jones.” Next, Chuck asks about the coaching staff and whether they are trying to get these players back too quick, or if they are giving the players enough time to recover. Tori responds by saying that “Raheem Morris and Dirk Koetter would love to have Julio Jones and Dante Fowler Jr. healthy”, but they need the other guys behind them to step up.  Chuck follows up that question by asking about specifically Julio Jones, and what the Falcons will have to do without him on the field. Tori responds by saying that “The Falcons have played a few games without Julio Jones, he hasn’t been 100% all season, so the Falcons and Matt Ryan have to find other guys. I know Todd Gurley is out this week, but you have to get you running backs involved and Hayden Hurst. They’re going to double team until the cows come home.” Jon continues by asking Tori about the Raiders offense and what the Falcons have to do defensively, and Tori responds by saying “It all starts with Grady in the middle.” Tori continued by basically saying that it continues with the defensive line as a whole bringing down Derek Carr. Lastly, Chuck asked Tori about the offense and what they have to do to get in the endzone. Tori responds by saying that “she feels like the Falcons are almost there. It seems like they get three, four, or five yards, but they are a block away from ten, fifteen, twenty yards.” Tori continues by saying that “After only scoring nine points the Falcons have to get into the endzone.”

To kickoff hour three Willy P talks to 92.9 The Game’s own Braves Insider Joe Patrick. Will kicks off the interview by asking Joe about the Braves signing Charlie Morton, and what he thinks about it. Joe says that the Braves were very high on Charlie Morton even with his drop in velocity over the course of last season, but “the consensus on Charlie Morton is he’s been a very reliable starting pitcher for a handful of years.” Next, Will asks Joe how much better the Drew Smyly signing looks now that they have also signed Charlie Morton. Joe responds by saying that “The Braves have a really great group of guys.” Joe continues by saying that this is one of the best rotations in baseball, and they have a good mix of young guys and guys like Max Fried that are making a name for themselves and experienced guys like Morton and Drew Smyly.” Next, Will asks Joe where these moves have the Braves standing as far as pitching rotations in baseball. Joe responds by saying that “Beside Mike Soroka because we know what he can do, but with him coming off an injury you don’t want to put too much expectation on him, but there’s no reason to think guys like Max Fried won’t be even better, so I think this rotation is a least the best rotation in the National League.” Will continues the interview by asking what’s next for the Braves since they have signed these players and will probably prioritize signing Freddie Freeman to an extension next, what’s next for the Braves after that. Joe says that going to get an “impact” bat whether it’s Marcell Ozuna or someone else. Joe continues by also saying the Braves could also look to trade for a bat.

Will starts off the interview by asking Chris how impressed he is with the Hawks on how they turned their roster around. Chris responds by saying that with the Hawks being able to turn guys like “Damien Jones, Deandre Bembry, Treveon Ghram, and Jeff Teague into Danilo Gallinari, Onyeka Okongwu, Bogdan Bogdanovic is very impressive.” Next, Will asks Chris how important the Bogdanovic signing was for the Hawks, and Chris responds by saying “It was the most important signing for the Hawks, and the Hawks have been looking for a guy like Bogdanovic since they drafted Trae Young. A guy who can be a secondary playmaker, create his own shot, shoot the three pointer, so this was the most important signing for the Hawks. Next, Will asks Chris about what the potential starting five could look like. Chris responds by saying “I know a lot of people get caught up in the starting five, but it doesn’t really matter, but if you ask me the starting five is Trae, Bogdanovic, Cam, Collins, and Capela. I know Gallinari signed a healthy contract, but at this point in his career he’s better suited coming off the bench. To continue the interview Nick asks what we might see Lloyd Pierce do schematically with this team. Nick responds by basically saying that it's going to be interesting how coach Pierce handles his lineups, but one area this team will likely focus on is defense because this team was “dreadful on that side of the court.” Chris also says that “The Bogdanovic and Gallinari signings don’t help you out in that are, and Rondo doesn’t help you out in that area even though some people have been confused saying he was a good defender in Boston which he was, but he’s not that player anymore. Kris Dunn however I believe is one of the best defensive players in the league.” Chris finishes his thought by basically saying the Hawks and coach Pierce “last year had about three guys they could depend on where as this year they have a complete roster.” Lastly, Nick closes things out by asking Chris what he thinks the future of John Collins is with the Hawks. Chris responds by saying that “I think the moves the Hawks made actually will help them get a deal done with Collins because their salary cap is tied up for 2020 and 2021 so I think they’ll be able to get a deal done whether it’s this year or next year.”
