To continue hour two Jon talks all things Masters with Will Grey. To starts things off Jon asks Will if there is concern about getting the tournament done on Sunday afternoon. Will responds by saying that there is more concern about “not getting in the way of NFL Football on CBS on Sunday”, but Will continues by saying that there is optimism that they will finish one time.” Next, Jon asks Will if the cut off line will be around even, and Will responds by saying that he believes the cut off line will be “one under par.” Also, Will says that while guys like Bryson Dechambeau have struggl;ed they are still only one stroke away from making the cut. To continue the interview Jon asks Will about Bryson Dechambeau, and if he was trying to play too aggressive yesterday. Will responds by saying “Bryson is always going to play high variance with a swing as hard as you can mentality.” Will continues by saying that he did miss his spots yesterday, and that “you can afford to miss a shot on this course, but when you start missing multiple shots that’s when you start getting yourself in trouble.” However Will does finish his thought by saying “I do believe that Bryson Dechambeau will end up making the cut tomorrow.” Next, Chuckery asks Will about Tiger Woods, and if there is a chance that he can be a factor in this tournament. Will responds by saying that “the morning will be vital for Tiger Woods, and we will know by 10:00am if Tiger Woods will be a factor in this tournament or not.” Will continues by jokingly saying that Tiger used to be Tom Glavine and now he’s more of Greg Maddoux meaning that he can’t over power people with the fast-ball anymore, and he has to paint the corners. Will finishes his thought by saying that “Tiger has to put the pedal down first thing in the morning tomorrow.” Next, Jon asks Will about Phil Mickleson being in the mix, but not being talked about that much. Will responds by saying everyone is surprised by it, and that “if you’d said that you would have expected Phil Mickleson to be in the mix you would be lying.” To close things out Jon asks Will if he believes the masters can buck the trend and bring in more views due to the lack of college football we will see, and Will responds by saying that he believes that “Saturday should be a good day ratings wise, but a lot of people watch football on Sundays, but if Tiger is in the mix he’ll bring some eyeballs, but if he’s not there won’t be as many eyeballs.”

Jon continues hour one by talking all things Atlanta Falcons with D. Orlando Ledbetter, Falcons beat writer for the AJC. Jon starts things off by asking D-Led how much does he think Dante Fowler’s inefficiency comes from injury, and how much does he think it’s the fact that Aaron Donald opened a lot of things up for him in Los Angeles. D-Led says that “I haven’t been that tough on Dante because I believe it’s mostly injury related.” Ledbetter continues by saying “He’s tried to play through a high ankle sprain, and that messed up his hamstring. Also, D-Led says that “He has done some little things by rushing to the outside well enough to free up Grady on the inside, so I haven’t been that tough on him.” Chuckery follows up by saying that he thought high ankle sprains only got better with rest, and is he doing himself and the team a disservice by playing. D-Led agrees with Chuckery and says “Yea he might’ve done the team a disservice and the team might’ve done him a disservice.” Next, Chuckery as Ledbetter about Foye Oloukun, and if he is the most improved player on this Falcons team this season. D-Led says “Jon you hit it right on the head.” Foye has been the most improved player on this team, and “he has turned out to be more dynamic than DeVondre Campbell.” Chuckery continues by asking Ledbetter where he thinks this team is at, and how they are feeling about the second half of the season. D-Led responds by saying that “this Falcons team believes they can still be a playoff team”, ...but with the Saints, Raiders, and Saints coming up we’ll find out where this team is in the twelve quarters.” Next, Jon continues by asking D-Led about what the future holds for this Falcons team, and if it’s more important to get a general manager or head coach in place first. D-Led says that it depends on how this team finishes, “if this team finishes it 4-12 then this team needs to be blown up.” Lastly Jon closes things out with D-Led by asking about the draft, and if this team needs to go pass rusher in the first round, and D-Led jokingly responds that the Falcons need to draft a pass-rusher in every round, and hopefully one or two of them work out.”

To kick off hour three of this Wednesday edition of The Jon Chuckery Show, Jon jumps into all things Atlanta United with 92.9 The Game’s Very own Atlanta United Color Analyst Jason Longshore. To start things off Jon asks Jason can Atlanta United get back to championship form in one off-season and Jason says “100%” Jason continues by saying that if you just count 12 Josef goals towards this year “then we are having a very different discussion for this year.” Jason also says that still having Jurgen Damm and Marcileno Moreno next year will also help Atlanta United a lot. Next, Jon asks Jason how vital is next season for Ezequiel Barco. Jason says this season is “vital” for Barco and “he has to stay healthy.” Jason continues by saying that Barco is at the age where he is working towards getting to the next level in his career, and if he wants to get there he has to have a good season. Jason finishes his thought by saying that the most surprising thing for him about Barco this season was his lack to create chances for others. “He created more chances for himself” Jason says but he did not create chances overall as well as he usually does. Jon continues the interview by asking Jason what kind of manager will this team go for since they are going for a manager who was more like Ta-Ta Martino. Jason responds by saying that “they will definitely get an attacking minded manager”, but Jason continues by saying the players have to mesh well with him and relate to him and the players also have to execute. To close out the interview, Jon asks Jason how important it will be to keep bringing up home grown players. Jason says it’s very important, and that in the next couple of years we will see some great players come up from the academy.
