Jon Rahm in spectacular fashion claimed his maiden Major Title at The US Open hosted at Torrey Pines. Putting on a spectacle for the week Jon took his game to another level as he took down Louis Oosthuizen in the back nine of Sunday's final round, this comes just after Rahm was diagnosed with COVID and had to quarantine before being deemed safe to play on Tuesday!

From an Irish perspective it was a successful week also, with Rory Mcilroy finishing T7, Shane Lowry had a Sunday to forget with an 8 over 79 to finsih T65, Shane needs to continue his recent good form over the next month if he wants to be on the team bus to Whistling Straits in September.

Jonny & Dave played as well this week, Dave won his first Senior Cup match at Corrstown and Jonny went up to Northern Ireland to play Malone Golf Club, and what a course it is! Ken Kearney had made a number of changes to the course and it is in fantastic condition, Jonny is still undergoing some swing changes with the driver and is feeling a bit lost at sea.
