When you're running your sales calls, are you having fun? 

You should be, if you're not, you need to learn how to loosen up and run the call with confidence and finesse, don't let anything dictate how well or how well you don't run the call except yourself. Leave all emotions away from the table and put on your suit of confidence.

It's not rocket science to increase your sales in a simplistic manner. It does require doing a little math which a handy dandy calculator can handle. 

The point is, know how many sales you want to make a month, know what it takes to make a sale, put everything together and work backwards. That's the easiest way to increase sales, there are other ways involving tactics and strategies as well. For the sake of this podcast, we will just discuss the easiest way to make it happen.

Every day, a task is constantly to not be dragged into the next best thing that catches my eye. It may look cool, it may be awesome, but it's probably not working towards my goal. Nor is it helping me be consistent with one thing I specialize in.

Avoid this temptations at all costs. You want to progress, then you need to set some sort of structured day. I'm not talking go with the flow. Absolute, in the books, scheduled and structured.

What do you do with your weekend? Is there anything you need done during the week that you find yourself thinking, "If only I had time to do XYZ, that would help so much!"

Then take advantage of the weekend! Use it to dedicate 2-4 hrs towards those things you couldn't do during the week. 

If you're burnt out every Monday, then maybe you need the weekend to relax

Everyone has different needs and is on different levels of the playing field, find out whats best for you and your business.

Every business is different, what may work for Joe the bodybuilder Smoe, may not work for Danny, the marathon runner, Salammy. 

Each business is going to require different tools that accomplish different objectives, make sure to choose the one that completes the task you're looking to achieve.

In a recent experience, I learned business is a lot like a recipe.

I'm no an all star chef, but nonetheless I was able to accomplish a huge feat and create a mean sweet potato hash. All because I followed a simple recipe over and over til I got it right.

Business is the same, have a recipe or blue print, follow it, test a single variable to see what makes your business produce better results.

Rather than waste 20 minutes on a presentation with an unqualified prospect, figure out who you're talking to BEFORE you present.

Ask them what you need to know before you present. They have to earn their way to the presentation, not just anyone receives the it. Make sure you don't fall into the group of presenters that presents to everyone with a pulse.

Cold calling is not dead, true it shouldn't be the initial point of contact with a prospect. But Cold calling being claimed as a dead prospecting tool is far from the truth.
