JOY Breakfast on JOY 94.9

Wake up and roll into your Thursday with Joel & Mama Mish, along with sassy Liam for JOY Breakfast – a funny, cheeky, and delightfully unpredictable morning show that mixes news, nostalgia, and nonsense with a lot of laughs.

This week it’s all about celebrating the magic of JOY’s Radiothon with plenty of laughs, chaos and community spirit! The fabulous Adz joins the team and bravely shares audio from his unforgettable back, sack and crack wax experience – because apparently nothing says Radiothon quite like a little pain for entertainment! In the second hour, the team is joined by the wonderful LGBTQIA+ Commissioner Joe Ball for an inspiring chat about community, visibility and inclusion, before welcoming extra-special guest Dom the Truck Driver, who quickly becomes part of the family. Then it all comes down to the ultimate showdown in Closest to the Pin: Dom teams up with Mama Mish, while Commissioner Joe Ball backs Joel. But does Joel’s winning streak continue, or is this the week the crown finally slips?
