I’ve always loved this scripture from Romans 12:2: "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind." It's too easy to go with the loudest and most prevalent thought being expressed in the world. This morning's message is to remind us to pause before jumping on the bandwagon. Remember to get quiet by turning within to check the God perspective. Possibly what your mind had grasped may not be the best thought to serve you. Allow Spirit to quiet the questions and concerns and be uplifted to a healthier place that will be reflected in your manifested world.

When one gets stuck focusing on the myopic perception of a situation, there can be a tendency to start expanding it out from the limited view, and often on a scary track. Today I’m going to remind you that there is a larger, more elevated perspective. From last Sunday, if one really believes God has got it covered, then we must surrender our constricted reality to the God Perspective. If one's insides are stirring, it’s time to practice our "Lent in Reverse" and embrace the God Realization of the Wholeness of the situation. Healing happens when you let Spirit take the lead.

I love the title of this morning’s message, “God’s Got It Covered.” Imagine how much more comfortable life would be if you really believed that. No more stress or worry. Concerns would be gone, and you would live as if life would be providing all that was necessary to live your dreams. Sounds like a more peaceful way to be living as well as to be healing. I trust you’ve been joining us in practicing “Lent in Reverse,” where we embrace something for our greater good, rather than giving something up.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Saint Patrick was known for bringing Christianity to Ireland and teaching the Christian Trinity through the three leaf shamrock. During the lent season in Ireland the drinking ban would be lifted on St. Patrick’s Day. People would put the shamrock in the bottom of their adult beverage and drink down. Fun stories arose around St. Patrick, like running all the snakes out of Ireland, which was a metaphor for running the old ways out since there never were snakes in Ireland. Symbolically, when we turn our ways over to a higher awareness the old is put out of our consciousness. Today we’ll take a look at the Spiritual Principle of Forgiveness as a key to healing. Embrace the practice of forgiveness and you’ll find a lot of the old falling away from your world.

This is an exciting week for Seaside. Our movement has an annual convention, and this year they are doing it differently by going virtual! It starts in Calgary tomorrow night, then goes to Golden, Colorado on Tuesday, moving to Atlanta for Wednesday, and wrapping up here at Seaside on Thursday.

And it's a free event if you come to Seaside on Thursday! My buddy, Dr. Roger Teel, who has been the senior minister of the most successful Center in our movement, is retiring today after 42 years of ministry and is speaking Thursday afternoon at Seaside.

Wow, we outdid ourselves for the "New Thought-a-Thon." Thank you everyone for the amazing outpouring of love! It took a huge team to pull off such an exciting and successful event. We reached more than a thousand people across the country with gifts coming in all the way from Florida. We have raised nearly $12,000 through our virtual open house. It was a fun-filled four hours of live streaming, and you can watch it in Seaside’s archives. You’ll miss the food trucks and market place but you’ll still catch the powerful twelve musical pieces from numerous guest artists.

We don’t stop there. Thursday, March 7 at 4:00pm we are literally rolling out the Red Carpet! Our movement, Centers For Spiritual Living, has an annual conference. This year they are attempting something different by doing the conference virtually from four different locations on four different days from around the country and Canada. Seaside was given the honor of hosting the closing night with the most successful minister in our movement, Dr. Roger Teel from the Mile Hi Church in Denver. And there’s more . . .

Some big and exciting news is coming up for Seaside...the "New Thought-a-Thon" on Sunday afternoon Feb. 17 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. I could use your support that day. Plan to join us live at Seaside, on Facebook live, or just go online to watch us. During the event we will show the many Seaside offerings and raise funds to support them. It will be our "Open House" for the world to see and support the good work we are doing here.

Today's message is about resting in Spirit, trusting the Divine, and believing in a Higher Power. Are you ready to give up stress and anxiousness on your road to healing and greater good? This morning's message will encourage you to rest in those ever-loving arms of Spirit. It’s a lot easier to surrender to your good than to fight your way through life!
