Consistency of action and motivation due to ongoing depression 

As a long time coach, Roy was very forthcoming with his struggles with depression across the last decade 

He shared how it affected his work, how he shows up and the accommodation he’s had to make for coping when it actually comes 

This opened up the dialogue to explore the inherent beliefs he had around depression itself

It highlighted a coaching moment around the role of choice in depression 

Additionally, it illuminated an alternative to ‘getting depressed’ 

Roy’s open mindedness to the new possibilities also highlighted how he had quite a lot of awareness around his depressive patterns, but wasn’t clear on how to heal and eliminate them 

Finding impactful purpose in scaling

Jed came in as very self aware but lacking the perspective to really see and understand how the limiting patterns he was aware of were negatively affecting his business

He understood they were there but wasn’t clear on the connection

As we dove deeper into his situation there was 4 main limiting patterns we uncovered

When it came to his tendency towards “impatience” which was causing him a lot of stress, the root cause of it surprised him

Additionally, as we unpacked it further it revealed a connection towards how he has a tendency to not trust people which makes for a harder time in delegation 

By the end of it he was able to recognize the root and understand what needed to be healed to eliminate these patterns 

How to embody the authentic pacing she wants in her life and business 

Sandra is a very self aware coach and entrepreneur and coming into the recording she knew she had a limiting belief of “I’m taking too long”

This was forcing her to rush, exhaust herself and always judge herself for being “behind”

We dove deeper into limiting belief and unpacked the root of it stemming back from childhood 

Additionally, Sandra was able to see the deeper reaches of this belief in her life and business

She also realized that despite her high self awareness she was bypassing the emotional and heart aspects of her patterns 

This was also the part that was stopping the full embodiment of who she wanted to be as a leader and person 

Having a hard time resting despite success 

As a high performing sales executive Alain was always looking for the edge to get ahead 

Despite his success, he had a very hard time finding guilt free relaxing time and was always worried about ‘stopping’

As we unpacked that deeper it turned out he had a long standing limiting belief that ‘it’s unsafe to stop’

Diving deeper into that revealed a long standing pattern from his childhood as he associated bad things with stopping work

Upon that realization we dove into how to use that information to actually heal the wounded parts that weren’t letting him find rest 

The stalling of perusing a speaking career despite current success 

Sam’s built a successful online business that’s all about freedom yet the one thing she was lacking freedom was her own self expression 

A big part of her current success came from her expertise in teaching people systems, tactics and strategy which she does very well, yet despite that she knew her soul was asking for more

Specifically, she wanted to express herself as a speaker and even after investing in getting all of the tools needed to make that successful she was holding herself back 

As we dove deeper into this we unpacked that a lot of the hesitation was due to the fact this new aspect of her business represented her vs. her skill set

This was triggering a lot of her inner woundings, people pleasing and fears around rejection that all stemmed from a sense of ‘not being good enough’ 

Overcoming the doubt that comes up when raising money 

As a serial entrepreneur, David has a long history and experience with entrepreneurship in many different forms

Despite having 2 exits from previous companies one of the things that's constantly come up for him was various forms of doubt

While it’s a normal part of navigating entrepreneurship what made David’s unique was that it was rooted in a particular self identity belief of ‘needing to be useful’ 

As we unpacked how that was affecting him as a leader, we also began to explore how it was showing up in his business

Additionally, I helped David explore the ‘blank brain’ around his brain’s inability to imagine life without this limiting belief and how that's affecting his leadership ability 

Unlike most episodes this one turned into an amazing share on what happens as a result of doing the type of “thought hygiene” work that’s done in the UpLevel Mind program

Even though John isn’t a client he shares a lot of his own attitudes, experiences along with realities of diving into the work he’s had to do to narrow down his focus 

He highlights it many different domains from business, to dealing with teams and employees along with golf

Additionally, I do also help shed some light on owning the way his brain works as a gift in that it’s also allowed him to harness it and achieve a lot of different things 

Finding balance between her creative outlets and her business

As a long time entrepreneur Laura was finally in a spot when she had a lot of additional mental real estate due to recently becoming and empty nester 

This opened up the space for her to really consider ‘what is next?’

Turns out Laura actually had a lot of clarity as to what next included but what kept being a stumble block was the seeming “permission” she seemed to be looking for 

To express her creative side, her creative interest were what a part of her was yearning for and even though she was taking active steps towards it, it was still hard for her to let go to it fully

As an “OG” of the web development space Thomas is someone who has been around for a long time and developed quite an expertise in all things web and internet marketing 

While that’s made him quite the expert it’s also been the main limiter towards his development because a lot of work falls on his plate to finish for clients

The result of this is a lot less time for business development

As we dove into the patterns he had around this the linchpin ended up being creating higher standards across the board on what he says ‘No’ to

This opened up additional evidence where he does do this and how to take that experience into his drive to step into higher roles within his business 

Overwhelm of a growing business 

Chase never set out to be an entrepreneur but his path led him to create a growing agency 

As he has kept up with the growth he never had the full opportunity to dive into his own leadership limits which were now showing up as overwhelm, stress and a lack of focus

This trickled down into his team and operations and was beginning to create more friction than necessary 

Despite this Chase realized that this was a big hurdle towards getting to the next level as he wanted to build a business around his authentic expression as an entrepreneur 

While there was initial resistance, on the call he was able to actually tune in and begin to explore what he would be like as a fully expressed, authentic leader and how that would translate to his business
