Fear of Success

Briana came in very self aware about a lot of the limiting patterns she was experiencing inside of herself and in her business 

It became very clear that she didn’t need a lot of help in that dept so this episode turned out to be quite different than usual

The majority of the episode is Briana being guided through the emotional blocks that keep stuck in her business

As you will see in the recording Briana’s blocks are directly tied to the trauma she experienced indirectly as a result of her father’s business success

She was able to see the all too common hindrance of the ‘fear of success’ which is that she was trying to “outthink her emotions” 

Fulfillment in success 

By all accounts Adrian is someone who looks to have all of the ingredients to be successful in terms of  track record and  material success

Yet the feeling of inner peace and fulfillment around enjoying those things seemed to have alluded him

Diving deeper into his patterns allowed him to see that he had a harsh inner critic that was relentless at always needing more 

This manifested in him being a lot more comfortable always adding things to his plate including more business acquisitions

This eventually imploded in on him and he realized he had to embrace stability but a part of him resisted it 

As we dove deeper into this aspect it became clear that there was more healing for him to find acceptance in being as he is and heal some of the childhood associations with success for him to be fully present in his fulfilment 

Hesitation to show up on social media

Like many business owners looking to grow their business Allison took to social media to grow her audience 

Despite hiring a business coach she had to force herself and be self accountable to actually do the work to go online

This was in stark contrast to her self motivation in becoming an expert in her field and was something she didn’t understand 

As we dove deeper it turned out that where Alison excelled was environments where the container was set, like school and following protocols for her patients 

This revealed that the core of her issues was really a lack of self trust to create her own standards of business, life and success

This preoccupation with being “correct” kept her locked in the wide open space of the internet and also triggered a harsh inner critic whenever she did wish to pursue it 

Feast and famine revenue cycles 

Manpreet came into the recording very self aware already and was certain that her issue had to do with a scarcity mindset 

While there was ripples of truth to that when we do deeper together a lot of the challenges of her business came down to a big wounding of feeling helpless while she was sick as a kid 

This created a very heavy inner critic and also a frenzy to always be running

She connected how that also affected her personal life beyond her business

She was able to walk away understanding how the pattern of self sabotage was operated on by the 3 main inner limits created by her inner critic, the frenzy feelings she had and the discomfort when anything was going well

Clarity on what her role a CEO looks like 

Lee Ann initially came on thinking she has reservations about her leadership style and ability 

As we dove deeper it became clear that her issues with leadership were a lot more subtle - they were about clarity 

She was lacking the clarity on what it is she wanted and that’s why it was hard to actually execute the next steps for her companies

With this realization Lee Ann was also able to uncover that she thrived in chaos not in peace

This realization was crucial in helping her accept that she was in a time of peace inside of her business and that requires a whole new type of leadership she wasn’t comfortable with

Additionally, she understood why the skill sets of strategy and intelligence were the “wrong” tools to deal with the doubt that she was experiencing 

Overdelivering with clients 

Justine has a proven track record of successfully delivering stellar results for her client yet despite that she wasn’t able to shake the feeling of ‘not being or doing enough’ 

As we dove deeper into the source of this it became clear that the root of it came down to security 

Instead of getting her sense of security from herself, her subconscious prioritized something external as the thing that made her ‘safe’

This didn’t allow her enjoy her success or  be present in and out of work

Similarly, it caused a lot of wasted time in terms of dealing with the mind drama of an unregulated nervous system 

By the end she recognized the emotional tools needed to actively solve this problem 

Robert shares his realization that perpetual happiness is not sustainable, and true fulfillment lies in finding balance, like the Zen state of calmness. 

He shares the challenges of success and wealth, where achieving material abundance doesn't necessarily guarantee happiness.

Hiding in terms of how she shows up online 

Despite being a seasoned coach who’s been through a lot of experiences she coaches her clients through Robyn had a visibility block that was keeping her from marketing online

It would always be an uphill battle to overcome her inner judge to get just basic posts out to her audience

Additionally, she recognized that this also responsible for keeping her content very diluted even when it did get posted

As we dove deeper into this we recognized the root of a lot these issues stemmed from avoiding conflict, needing to be right and having always had an inner critic that sabotaged her efforts 

A bottleneck to scaling due to visibility block 

As a thriving business owner who has visions of scaling beyond the level of her current business Adele recognized she was holding herself back from executing on her vision 

She was wasting a lot of time doing things 80% complete and not pulling the trigger on the final 20%

This was masked by stories around “needing to be creative” or “ensuring it’s perfect” but as we dug deeper a lot of it came down not feeling safe to show up in social media

She spent a lot of time “prejudging” the interactions she would have online which kept her from showing up at the level she needed to to step forward and attract the business necessary for the next level

She was also able to recognize that a lot of this had to do with her own nervous system feeling safe in the lack of control she had in social media and that it was the path towards her healing
