First, The plaintiff’s son and the defendant’s grandson attend the same school. The plaintiff says the defendant’s grandson hit her son in the head and neck with a medicine ball, which knocked him unconscious. She’s suing for medical bills. The defendant, her brother-in-law, admits the plaintiff’s son got hit, but they were both playing with the ball, so he doesn’t owe.
Then, The plaintiff has an on-and-off relationship with the defendant, and they have a child together. The plaintiff says the defendant’s family doesn’t think the plaintiff is the real father, so he petitioned the court for a paternity test. The defendant admits her family isn’t confident the plaintiff is the father, so she’s happy to take the test.
Plus, The plaintiff brings her former boss to court and says he stole $12,000 from the corporation, borrowed $10,000 from employees, and had indecent photos on his company phone. She is suing the defendant for three unpaid loans. The defendant admits he borrowed the money because he ran into major financial difficulties.
