Tim Kennedy is a Green Beret, UFC Fighter, entrepreneur, husband and father. He is also about to become a published author. Tim Jumped Into the back of WWII Land Rover Ambulance with host Fran Racioppi at Sandlot Jax and the GORUCK Games to share the details on his upcoming book Scars and Stripes: An Unapologetically American Story of Fighting the Taliban, UFC Warriors and Myself. 


Tim and Fran catch up after last seeing each other while supporting the withdrawal from Afghanistan. They talk about Tim’s mixed martial arts training seminar for the Sandlot festival goers and what he learned sparring with CrossFit champion Jason Khalipa.

Most importantly, Tim candidly shares his thoughts on writing about how his failures, shame and humiliation in life have made him stronger and more focused on what really matters.
