In 1988, 16 year old Junko Furuta was a victim of a Yakuza affiliate kidnapping when she was captured and for a total of 44 days. Throughout her time she was brutally attacked and assaulted by upwards of 100 different people. This is easily one of the most horrific cases we have ever come across as Junko goes through unimaginable torture which leads to the fitting name the case was given of "44 days of hell."
