In August 1881, the body of Jennie Cramer, a celebrated beauty known as the "Belle of New Haven," was discovered in the waters near Savin Rock Amusement Park, in New Haven, Connecticut. Her death sparked a scandal surrounded by whispers of arsenic poisoning, suspicious companions, and the shadow of one of New Haven's wealthiest families. To this day, the unanswered question remains: what truly happened to Jennie Cramer on those final, fateful nights? Some claim the true killer walked out of the courtroom and got away with murder.
