so much of my day and mood sometimes feels dictated by how I react to the things I can't control. How someone feels about the dentist that day, how someone's body responds to treatment, how someone takes care of themselves - working in healthcare is exhausting because it feels like trying to manage many things we cannot control, and it can be so frustrating and take away the satisfaction and joy out of so much in our day. The thing that top performers in any industry have mastered is focusing their precious time and energy on the things they can control and not spending a second on the things they can't. in this episode we dive into the following things:
1. the top thing performers do to get ahead
2. the little things you don't realize that add up in the things you cannot control in your day
3. do you have a personal brand values list? is your day aligned with these values or are there things you should be eliminating?
4. are there ways you can eliminate distractions? this includes setting better boundaries with toxic people that are distracting
5. the importance of book ending your beginning and end of days with this thing

Just A Quick Pinch is a lifestyle podcast for the modern young woman in healthcare! This podcast is a tool and community for young women that take care of others for a living to learn how to take care of ourselves! In a world where it feels like we have to make ourselves more masculine to be taken seriously in the field of healthcare, I created this podcast to empower women to embrace our experiences, thoughts and feelings as young women and feel seen and heard. This podcast is for all the things that school didn't teach us about self help, mental health, wellness, relationships, friendships, and more! For the mid 20s-30s woman navigating life on top of her career in healthcare, I hope this podcast brings you laughs, moments of clarity, and inspiration in the day to day.
