Just Another Friday Night

Like Clint and Kate, AA and CM have found a way to make the magic reunite! We're virtual but we're here! It's been a long time coming but it's time to talk Hawkeye! The latest Marvel series on Disney+ did not fail to deliver! You could say it was right on target (of course)! So spoilers abound! If you have not seen Hawkeye, go binge and let's discuss after! Also we're gonna just catch up! Not the original but the best dynamic duo are back bay bay!!

In what feels like the sequel nobody wanted here we are. After 2 weeks CM Chuck is back only sadly this time without Double A?! What can we say except WTF 2022? Sadly we have to cancel our appearance tomorrow at WrestleFest. Tonight let's just chat. An open forum episode for the ol JAFN podcast an occurrence that is sadly becoming all too common...grab a cold one and let's focus on the better things going on in the world today!

It's all about the Dragonball Universe !! We talk the legendary fighters of DB! Goku, Frieza, Piccolo, Vegeta, Buu, Cell, Mr. Satan, Bulma, Gohan, Krillin who is the strongest, what is the best story arc, & rivals? Does the show have filler episodes? Should DragonballGT be Canon? What is the best series? Check it out and join the fun!! With CM Chuck's continued hiatus we bring in Jacky Boy to guest host!

CM Chuck is on a minor hiatus and with that Double A is taking the reins and bringing in a ringer (pun intended) Loverboy Jorge DeLeon! It's all about the NWA in the 80s, Flair and The Horsemen, Dusty, Steamboat, Road Warriors, Rock N Roll Express, Midnight Express, Luger, Sting, Von Erichs, Freebirds, Harley, Starcade, Bunkhouse Stampede, WarGames, Tower Of Doom, Great American Bash Tours.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!! IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME TURN THIS OFF NOW!!!! This is your final warning!!!! Well JAFN like everyone else in the world simply could not wait to have the chance to discuss the hugest film since the pandemic! How many times have you seen it? Where did you go? Were your theories correct? What surprised you?? We're definitely going to tell you exactly what we thought! It's our last episode before Christmas and the Mighty Marvel Studios delivered in a big way! Tonight we're tweaking the Motley Crue lyrics cause "tonight, tonight, tonight, we're on our way, WE'RE ON OUR WAAAAYYY - NO WAY HOME!!"

It's a cold and rainy day here in SA and The Friday Nighters and Friday Night Faithful are likely wondering "where the hell was the show this week?". CM Chuck is here to answer those questions and more! We just wanted to have a brief open forum and meet with you all on this gloomy but still Sunday Funday!

"I am vengeance, I am the night, I. AM. BATMAN!" If you were watching cartoons in the 90s there is no way you weren't watching Batman: The Animated Series. And while Just Another Friday Night has its own issues with current comic book Batman we have nothing but pure love for BTAS. When fans argue that Kevin Conroy is the best Batman they have a very, very firm argument. He's also probably the best Bruce Wayne without question. When these same fans say Mark Hamill is the best Joker - they also have a very solid argument. And yes he stacks up against Ledger and Phoenix. To say that we adore this series especially the first 2 season is an understatement. We want to tell you about the love and how if we only got to have one Dark Knight with us the rest of our days we'd be pretty ok with it being this one. Hop on, crack a cold one, for this one day early episode and let's The Caped Crusader in his most glorious animated form!

After some shaky sound issues we've had to re-release this one! Huge applause to our guest Gerry D. for fixing it! He truly does do it all! The extra cool part is that you - The Friday Nighters of The Friday Night Faithful will get to hear the full and uncut version of the live show we normally do! We absolutely loved Kevin Smith's vision for Masters of the Universe: Revelation, so much so we did a whole episode on part 1 - go check it out! Recently debuted on Netflix is the conclusion of this tale as part 2 premiered. As long time He-Man lovers from the 80s we thought this would be the perfect time to bring on a guest we've wanted to have on for awhile. Gerry Davila aka Gerry D the host of Totally Rad Christmas, the podcast that talks all things Christmas in the 80s, toys, movies, specials, music and fads if it was gnarly during Christmas in the 80s he's got it covered . Gerry is an amazing podcaster and possesses a wealth of 80s knowledge and he's been kind enough to join us! We're ready to talk about these last 5 episodes and we also want to hear what you thought about the happenings on Eternia! So as Gerry would say HIT IT!

When there's something strange, in your neighborhood, who you gonna call?! All together now - GHOSTBUSTERS! They have the tools - they have the talent!! If you're a kid of the 80s there's no way you don't know and love Peter Venkman, Ray Stanz, Egon Spengler, & Winston Zeddemore not to mention a whole host of supporting cast, a cartoon, an all-female led film, and of course now the new generation introduced this November of 2021 in Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The reason why the Ghostbusters don't die much like the ghosts they hunt is because of the unyielding love from the fans for this franchise. We here at Just Another Friday Night like to think of ourselves as members  of the auxiliary squad of Ghostbusters ready to slide down the pole and get slimed at first sound of Janine yelling "WE GOT ONE!" We want to hear all about your thoughts on all the movies the cartoon, the latest film, cast, crew and what you do if someone steps on a church in your town? We hope you're ready to answer the call the same way you KNOW to answer if someone asks you if you're a God?!
