The man is quoted as saying that "you will see comic book art in museums." And boy was he ever right. Jack "King" Kirby is one of, if not the, most prolific comic book creators of our time. A name that can be credited with creating Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Darkseid and believe us the list goes on and on. His art is easily some of the most recognizable in the entire comic book world. He is loved and revered by fans and his legacy is unmatched. From Marvel to DC and beyond The King is someones name you should learn alongside Stan Lee's. His story is not one without controversy but we love him all the same. Take a listen as we talk about the one of the all time greats - Jack Kirby.

The age old debate - DC or Marvel? And to take it a step further Marvel VERSUS DC?!? Back in the 90s there was a wonky comic series that attempted to tackle the two greatest comic book companies facing off. While it wasn't definitive and definitely had some questionable takes it was still fun! It kept AA and CM certainly waiting for the next issue to drop. Here and now though in 2021 AA and CM are going to set their own super card and pit their own BEST of the BEST from DC and MARVEL in a brawl for it all to seek who (in our eyes at least) walks away as the ultimate in comic book universes! Will it be the World's Finest or Earth's Mightiest Heroes?!?

SPOILERS ahead in this ep!! In our season 4 premiere we are still without Double A, but this unique opportunity is allowing for the chance to tackle a topic we likely would not have otherwise covered on this podcast. The HBO MAX show TITANS! Starring Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Ryan Potter, Teagan Croft, Minka Kelly, Curran Walters, Alan  Ritchson and a host of other young up and comers! This show is def a sleeper in our opinion and if you are into the superhero genre but love stuff like The Boys and Invincible - then we def think you will get a lot of love out of TITANS! In what should be a landmark episode this one comes with a heavy heart. Headed up by one of our idols the one and only Kevin Smith - Masters of the Universe: Revelation was all it's namesake and more! We're going deep into Eternia for this one and we couldn't be happier! A voice cast to die for and all the nostalgia you could want from the iconic property. Grab Orko and Cringer and maybe some mead? Does He-Man drink? Well we are drinking to all the Masters of the Universe in this Revelation of a show!

SNAKE EYES! You don't want to roll it in craps but if you had to form a team of the deadliest men out there you would most certainly want the famed G.I.Joe man in black on your side. He could easily hang in there on any one those Facebook lists of who you'd want in battle with you. Batman, John Wick, The Bride, The Black Widow - Snake Eyes can hold is own with each and every one. And tonight on the premiere of his solo film in theaters we take a look at the comic book version and origin of the character. Made famous by Larry Hama though he didn't create him, he gave him his essence and created the yang to Snake Eyes' yin in the deadly Storm Shadow. A rivalry that ranks up there with Wolverine & Sabertooth, Sub-Zero & Scorpion, or Ryu & Ken. We love Snake Eyes and we don't mean the Nick Cage movie! So sit back and crack a cold one with is as we talk the most mysterious Joe of them all!

Tonight we discuss the man in the hat, whose list of books and characters he's worked on is no short feat. Sin City, The Dark Knight Returns, 300, Daredevil, Wolverine, Batman Year One. With that first title alone you know were talking about Frank Miller. A guy who does noir like no other. HIs runs on Daredevil and Wolverine are pretty regarded as groundbreaking. Sin City and 300 go on to become major motion motion pictures. The Dark Knight Returns is easily one of if not THE greatest Batman story ever told. His words and artwork are a clear inspiration for what Zack Snyder did in with Ben Affleck in Batman v. Superman. We had the pleasure of meeting the man at DC Comics Pop-Up as a part of SXSW in Austin, TX in 2018 and well it just made even bigger fans than we already are. He showed us a Man without Fear, a yellow bastard, a dame to kill for and even inspired the very name of this show when Marv was out on just another Saturday night! Here's to the man in the hat - the one and only Frank Miller!
