From an early age Richard has always loved the countryside and a more simple analogue existence. He has always shied away from the norms and his staunch independence and entrepreneurial flair have seen him do many things up to this point including:

Film maker, actor, mime artist, successful kids program creator, fire eater, author and now headlining podcast host and speaker.

Richard is also known as The Bald Explorer and now one half of The English Couple with his wonderful partner Julia. They love to explore England, Englishness, Britain, landscape, nature, heritage, antiquities, van life, homesteading, off grid living, their relationship, and more.

Richard is also the driving force behind Vobavision, a video production business based in West Sussex working within the television and corporate sector with experience in both broadcast and commercial media. His specialty is online media and productions for the small screen. The pursuit of storytelling is the essence of Vobavision.
