Just Between Friends

Remember when you were just a kid and all you wanted to do was grow up so you could do what you wanted, when you wanted, etc...Then you did grow up and figured out that
growing up isn't always what you imagined it would be.  Growth = growing pains. 
Companies, businesses, relationships...all go through some sort of growing pains in order to get to the next level.  we as a people also experience these pains in many areas.  The fact is if we want to accomplish goals, be better, make dreams a reality then we will experience some type of growing pains.  But take heart friends- You have what it takes to tough it out and get through to the other side.   It will be worth it when you look back and see how far you have made it.  Remember, no pain, no gain!

Doesn't it feel like lately if you're not swimming in the same direction as everyone else you are doing something wrong? Well my friends that isn't true, just keep swimming just keep swimming 

“Believe in yourself!”  We heard phrase often, mostly as kids and teenagers.  At the time most of us didn’t realize just how important it is to really “believe in yourself!!” Have high self-esteem (not inflated self-esteem-thats a topic for another day).
Friends, these days it feels like it’s harder and harder to have faith in ourselves, just as we are. To love and accept our great qualities along with our flaws and faults.  On today’s episode we discuss some reasons why this is and some ways to work on believing in ourselves and celebrating who we are and where we are right Now!

Mother and daughter relationships are one of the most beautiful snd complicated relationships! Today in the spirit of the recent Mother’s Day holiday we discuss some of the different types of Mother/daughter relationship dynamics and the importance of them in our lives. Moms are amazing and often unappreciated.  Remember we are  here because of God and our mothers- Let us never forget that! 

The power of REST is real! We live in a society that encourages busyness, movement and activity (or the image of such things).  Rest has been categorized as something the “weak” or “unsuccessful” people do.  Wow! That could not be Farther from the truth! Even God almighty rested after the creation of the heavens and the earth! Are we better than Him?!  Ummm nope 👎🏼

"April showers bring May flowers."  Most of us have heard this saying before... On todays episode we dig into the meaning behind that quote as it applies to daily life.  We have all probably experienced a season in life where it seems everything (and we mean everything) is going wrong.  Things are not going as planned, relational issues arise, things break down, finances are disrupted, health is compromised, etc. etc... Hence the title of our episode.

Pride can be a silent killer of relationships, opportunities, growth, success, etc, etc..
Let’s be honest we all have to work on our pride levels daily!  On today’s episode we talk about different characteristics that a prideful person may exhibit in different scenarios. (Personal experiences included lol) Growth requires acknowledgment of  areas of weakness or things that need improvement within us.

It’s Easter week friends!!! On today’s episode we speak about the Man who loved humanity so deeply that he lay down his life to save and restore us.  But wait, that’s not all! He then rose up from the dead and  gave us new life! Jesus is alive and he loves us.  It is through his death and resurrection that we are set free! That’s what Easter is all about. Don’t get distracted by anything else going on- it’s all about Jesus and his love for you and me!

It’s always difficult to move forward or move on after being hurt or after a failed relationship.  It can put you in a place of fear and discouragement.  Today we discuss different reasons why this happens and even our own experiences with fear of moving on and starting over.  Moving forward can be scary and hard but it is always well worth it. 

The process ! Whew!! No one likes this word or having to go through it! However everyone and everything goes through some type of process or processes to see results- successful business, great relationship, finalized projects, healthy finances, healthy body etc...today we discuss the processes we face in life and how to hang in there and see our dreams and goals through to the end.
