In this episode, Special Counsel Smith requests permission to file a huge brief concerning Trump's actions and communications between November 2020 and January 6th, 2021. Trump's counsel say the filing is in effect an interim Special Counsel Report—just in time for the election. 

Would-be assassin Ryan Routh is now indicted as an attempted assassin and remains detained pending trial, as filings to support that detention shed more light on his travel, gear, and intentions. 

Oh, and the case has been randomly assigned to Judge Aileen M. Cannon.
