We finally have the Crossfire Hurricane Binder*—a collection of seemingly random Crossfire Hurricane-related memos, text messages, interview transcripts, etc., many still with redactions and most having already been released to Congress, used in court cases, or given to media.

So why get excited about it?

Well, at first I wasn’t all THAT excited. I’m not a fan of the Trump Administration’s apparent preference for releasing declassified materials to only a handful of journalists instead of posting it online somewhere for EVERYONE to have instant access to. That made me a bit sour on the release at first. But as I browsed the material over the past few days and as it reactivated my interests in the subject matter, my enthusiasm increased.

The majority of the material is not new nor massively revelatory; however, there are some fresh tiles of info that help us assemble the Crossfire Hurricane mosaic, if you will.
