In this episode, I briefly discuss former Special Counsel Jack Smith sitting for a closed-door hearing before the House Judiciary Committee and then dive into the case of Richman v. United States.

It’s a very interesting civil case that’s like a follow-up to the dismissed criminal case against Comey, Richman of course being Person 3 from the indictment against Comey. Richman is trying to get a judge to order DOJ to give him back the materials seized from him pursuant to four Arctic Haze search warrants. Or, destroy what they took. Since that material was central to the case against Comey, DOJ losing access to it would kill any effort to reindict Comey on the same charges.

The Richman case is interesting enough in that way, but there’s a bit more going on here, and I think the case could cement DOJ’s access to the materials rather than permanently remove it. I’ve included the first two videos I’ve made on the case in this podcast episode, and I have a third video on the way.

Towards the end of the episode, I give my thoughts on the news that Dan Bongino is exiting the FBI.
