  • Anger | Me in the Red Room

This podcast is a bit different. This one is very personal. I talk about my struggle with my anger and resentment. I speak candidly about my personal struggle to try to do the right things, but I am overcome with rage. I talk about the divorce but more so how I did not expect certain pieces of information to seep out and how I have to come to terms with the fact that I grew up in DMV. The impact this realization has had on me and sort of what's going on in my mind.

  • Life is Hard

When you learn from a young age to fight, you keep fighting, it never stops. As a person you have to work in your triggers because they will keep on showing up. I walked off the job, who knows if I will be back, but somehow does it matter? If you lose your mind you lose everything.

  • Emotional Check IN

Take a Pause, and check in with yourself. I talk on this podcast about my emotional check-in and what I did for myself. However, this was the year of the money bag! Last year took a toll on my emotional health, and I needed a pause. Sometimes we need to protect our peace and I talk about that here because without emotional health we have nothing.

  • Creating Self

I was recently moved by this book I am reading. I thought about the question of "Creating self". I have done the Death of Self and the rebirth of self but never creating self. Like what does that even mean? When I was reading this book the thing that popped out is when you have no root, and your are determined to be someone, you can miss out on living because you want to achieve your goals.

  • Not Weak Just Tired

You need rest..I did a whole podcast where I spoke about exhaustion and mental fatigue. I pick that up in this podcast. Sometimes we become vulnerable, and we mistake this for weakness. When in fact, we need rest, we need to sleep so that we can function on an optimal level. No one knows this more than I do. When I took those pills and slept solidly, no one felt better than I did. I had such mental clarity; I have not had that in a while. Things were getting to me that made me feel like I was either getting soft or weak. But I was just tired.

  • Your Ability to Grow
Want to make more money? You have to work on yourself and invest in yourself. You will never make more money than your self investment. As for myself I believe that growing as a person is extremely important. You can work a whole job, and grow your skills whether in school, take a course, or taking free courses. The digital world makes it a lot easier to do take courses. I know you are tired and are going through a lot and trust me when it gets pass 6 pm I am done working. Which is why the other things I do are virtual and don't run pass 6pm unless I make it so or it is for my business. But for a long time I had to work in the evenings, until I decided that if I do anything in the evening it is for my business or my own development and I started to see the money being returned to me. Personal growth is how you become wealthy, it is how you become free, and it is how you gain your autonmy back.

  • People won't work for you if you do this
I am about energy and I believe a business has the energy of the owner, so if your company is successful then it is your energy that provided that. People do not like to pay people what they are worth but worse they like to control people to a uniform way of thinking.
In 2023 that does not exist, what really exists is the ability to create to take a business to a new level by allowing people to work from their strengths and not your old agenda from 1929. One of the things I find that companies do is that they like to strong-arm workers, so because they are paying you, they want you to do admin work for something that you are not responsible for. For example, when people are self-contracted you can not ask them to fill out a 400pg inventory sheet counting clipboards, pens, erasers and whatever nonsense. Because if you are paying me for that 8 hrs that to me is included in that window. Meaning at 430 I am saying goodbye to people and then going through your agenda. One thing about me is if you give me too many things to do, I will do it on your time. It is also common sense, if you have good company and workers appreciate you, they will be sure to let you know "Hey this object needs to be restocked". But when people don't like you they just want a cheque and don't care then they do whatever, which leads to the admin being annoyed.

  • Who is me?
When you take time off to be with yourself, but what self? I had to take time off my work, but I consider it as I took time out of my life. I had this grand plan of what I would do upon rest. I did none of it until I geared to go back to work, like writing chapters in my book or even recording podcasts or making any money!! I discovered that there is no "me time" because I am unfamiliar with myself. I and myself have not sat at the same table in probably months. I do not even know what I enjoy vs what I do not want anymore. I can't plan my time when I do not know who I am. It is like preparing for a guest you can't tell; it gives you shared anxiety.

  • Price= Value
People work to value; there is no such thing as killing yourself over someones else's job or company. Because people do not care about others, only their families and big lifestyles. So now lots of people are working to rule, meaning there are not wasting their talents in your company. People are all different, and if companies would wake up and use people at their talents they would be able to stay in business. But no they treat everyone the same in not knowing that they have very creative people in there midst.  If people start to get paid there value, they would work more effetively, or if they were compensated with a good health care plan. The idea is the middle men and the micro managing is now what is causing people to quit, as the people are so out of touch with the world we live in.
