Practical hunger is such a "basic" tip but between that and learning to space food throughout the day these were actionable tips that truly helped me so much to get out of binge cycles. Don't underestimate the power of fueling your body appropriately for both your physical and mental health.

I am joined in this episode by Olga, a binge eating coach who helps serial dieters heal their relationship with food and regain control. Olga shares part of her story through her own journey of recovery as well as aspects of both her physical and emotional healing. It occurred to me it might be interesting to explain why I chose my title since it is fairly obscure based on the content I talk about on this podcast. In this episode I explain the 4 main reasons I chose it -some more inspiring than others but all still relevant.
I've got a lot of wonderful guest speakers in the pipeline I share with you, and I remind you that Recovery Is Never Linear! This is another friendly reminder in addition to Episode 3 "I FAILED!" that the road to recovery is filled with twists and turns and to not beat yourself up. <3

Fear and anxiety around food was what crippled my social outings and caused severe distress when receiving (food) gifts in the past. It is such a recurring feeling that it takes a combination of TONS of the "TIPS" I have been sharing to overcome and heal from.

I've noticed that there are MULTIPLE movies or TV shows that have a "female transformation" all centered around making the "less attractive" girl into this "dazzling show-stopper" beauty. [For the record I can't think of this happening much for men?]
Apart from film I do think women in particular get a multitude of comments or critiques about their appearance. This can very easily cause us to link appearance to self-worth and cause limiting beliefs. In this episode I discuss and analyze the destructive tendency of "backhanded compliments" both from personal and related experiences.
