This rhetoric echoes the same type of deflection and victimhood narrative used by high-profile men accused of sexual misconduct, attempting to cast doubt on survivors rather than addressing the reality of the allegations. Instead of confronting the overwhelming evidence against Diddy—including witness testimonies, financial transactions, and damning surveillance footage—West chose to paint him as a target of some larger conspiracy, making the absurd claim that his downfall was orchestrated rather than the result of his own criminal behavior. In another bizarre move, West even proposed selling Sean John merchandise to raise money for Diddy, essentially treating a man accused of systemic abuse as a martyr rather than a predator.
