Wow! What a day in court! First up was Jonathan Diamandis, who was on the notorious text group chain with former Trooper Michael Proctor. Hank Brennan read Proctors mean texts which failed to have the impact of last trial. However, the real shocker came next with former Canton police officer Kelly Dever as called to the stand by the defense. Dever testified she was threatened that if she didn’t lie on the defense stand they would make sure she was charged with perjury. Finally, the defense put up self proclaimed dog bite expert Marie Russell to the stand. Hank Brennan was eating her alive in cross-examination before court ended for the day.
