FBI Director Kash Patel is testifying before a Senate panel on Tuesday, where he is likely to face questions about the investigation into Charlie Kirk's assassination. Patel’s appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee represents the first oversight hearing of his tenure as head of the FBI.

Tyler Robinson, the trade school student suspected of assassinating Kirk at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, is due in court on Tuesday to face formal charges. Robinson will appear by video feed from jail in what will be his first appearance since his arrest.
