The Ghana Police Service has revealed that a total of 4 policemen have been arrested in connection with an “on-going intelligence-led police investigation” into some bullion van robberies that recently occurred in the country. Another suspect believed to be a civilian was also arrested by the police while some other 5 civilian suspects have gone into hiding according to the police.

A tricycle (pragya) driver is in critical condition after a collision with a trailer on the Nkwanta road. The trailer, with a foreign registration number, 6759 AM, is said to be conveying a container from Accra to the Northern part of Ghana, when the crash occurred.

Mr Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong, the Deputy Minister in charge of Political and Economic, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, says government has released US$2 million for evacuation of Ghanaian students from war-stricken Ukraine. Seventeen Ghanaian students who fled the ongoing war in Ukraine yesterday arrived back home to reunite with their families.
