The Interior Department seemed to indicate earlier today that it was dropping support for Governor Brown's plan to build two massive tunnels to send water from the Delta to Southern California. But, federal officials and the Brown administration are playing down the statement. KCBS, KPIX-5, and Chronicle Insider Phil Matier says that Governor Brown's Adminstration is hoping for support from the Trump Adminstration.
