A Prayer for Racial Justice. I had the chance to dialoging with Erika of @blackgirlswhobrunch this morning and after hearing her perspective, I wanted to change the title of this prayer from reconciliation to justice. Thank you Erika for taking the time to talk with me. I'm grateful for you and your voice. Friends, the best way to learn is through humbling ourselves. So please join me in this prayer for Racial Justice today and then comment amen. Saint Augustus Tolton, pray for us. Servant of God, Thea Bowman, pray for us.

Self-Care:  The whole episode is self-care but at the end of the episode Vanessa suggested writing a letter to yourself.  It sounds odd but it was amazing--I did it & texted Vanessa after. 

 

Play:  Take time for 1:1.  Vanessa lets her daughter do her hair and make-up.  She watches SNL and Goldberg's with one of her son's and walks with the other.  Find what your kid likes and join them.
