Spotlight on the Sox (10 min)

The only team playing in town now is the 14-21 Boston Red Sox, Bobby how does this make you feel.

-Injury bug comes at the worst time, first Garrett Crochet placed on IL and last night, Roman Anthony leaves game after check swing. This comes at the worst possible time as ownership and front office keep getting touched for the play of this team.

Clubhouse is in shambles. Players blaming other players for poor play thru the media. Willson Contreras called out young players' inexperience, prompting Marcelo Mayer to fire back publicly.

New manager Chad Tracy, is this team too big for him? Can he navigate this team out of this rough stretch.

Like I said a month ago and just how I predicted Cora wouldn’t make May, here come them being in on everyone. FanSided’s Chris Landers has named the Red Sox as the top potential suitor for Houston Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez.

What does this team really need, front office change, roster moves, etc.

Celtics Need Change (20 minutes)

-for the first time in franchise history, Celtics blow a 3-1 series lead. It’s time for change. (Discuss)

-The 3 point shooting is ridiculous. In 7 games they attempted 323- 3s while the 76ers attempted 230. Joes offensive coaching philosophy doesn’t work, I believe more and more that the Celtics got lucky that year they won. (Discuss)

-Jayson Tatum notifies team 45 minutes before game he’s a no go. Should he have played, could he have played. (Discuss)

-Roster issues, Celtics first team ever

To have 3 starters not record a point in a playoff game. Baylor, Garza, Harper. Discuss

-Celtics way is blinding these players(play hauser presser).

-3rd quarter disaster. No bigs in the lineup. Embiid has his way against small lineup, Mazzulla zero changes.

-Brown after the game, refs had it out for them. (Clip)

-what’s next, offseason predictions, do they make a move, do they break the jays up, does our wish come true and Mazzulla gets fired?

-now because of this we get 2 months of nothing but Red Sox baseball. Let’s hope Rich and Bobby let me talk soccer because it will be a boring 2 months of sucky baseball

Bruins collapse

Bruins 3 – Sabres 4

First playoff win in Buffalo in 15 seasons

Had the Buffalo loser doom on the tip of their tongue – playoff hockey misery

First time in NHL playoff history a team came back from 2 or more goals with 8 minutes or less left in the game.

Bruins defense can not clear a puck. Going back to Chara 2019 maybe more.

McAvoy – Bad turnovers lead to first goal(soft)

Pasternak – 1 goal, Where was he in the 3rd ?turnover lead to open net goal 2nd? 2 missed breakaways

Swayman – Great for 2 ½ periods. Flood gates opened in crunch time

McAvoy, Peake, Lindholm 3 turnovers in their own zone lead to game losing goals

Bruins out shot, out hit, out possessed

Pats draft and AJ Brown Smoke Screen

Adam Schefter

"No matter what happens at this week's draft, an A.J. Brown trade to the Patriots is still on the table and still tracking to happen on or after June 1, per league sources," Schefter wrote. "The two sides have discussed a deal, but neither has been willing to commit to it until after June 1, when Brown's $40 million salary cap charge would be split between this and next year.

"All the elements remain in place to make it happen, and Brown to the Patriots is still the likely outcome ... just not during this week's draft, per sources

"The Patriots remain at the forefront of trade talks for Brown. Another team could always emerge, and there's a lot of time between now and June 1. But as of now, multiple sources say they believe Brown and the Patriots are likely to become a tandem."

Brown did not report to Eagles off season events

In Touch magazine

Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, tried to stop the New York Post from publishing shocking photos of head coach Mike Vrabel and The Athletic reporter Dianna Russini, according to multiple sources.

“Robert Kraft intervened and had his honchos pressure The Post before they published and tried to kill the story,” a source exclusively tells In Touch. “The Post gave Vrabel a longer time to respond than what is considered industry norms, and Kraft took advantage of that extended timeframe to put pressure on the reporter and the newspaper. A notorious crisis strategist made the call but was unsuccessful in neutering the story.”

Vrabel Speaks

"I've had some difficult conversations with people I care about about − with my family, the organization, the coaches, the players," Vrabel said as part of an opening statement on April 21, a full two weeks after the New York Post published the photos.

"Those have been positive and productive. We believe in order to be successful on and off the field, you have to make good decisions. That includes me. That starts with me. We never want our actions to negatively affect the team. You never want to be the cause of a distraction.

"What I can promise you is that my family, this organization, the team, the staff, the coaches, everybody − our fans, most importantly − will get the best version of me going forward."

Vrabel thanked local reporters for their patience amid his silence during what he called a "personal and private matter."

He also stated, "It was important to me to have a conversation with the players, which I did yesterday − very candidly."

Vrabel said he chose to speak Tuesday because he didn't want Patriots players to be asked questions about him before he had addressed them or the media. He also didn't want to detract from the attention on the NFL draft, which begins April 23 in Pittsburgh. The Patriots are scheduled to pick 31st overall on Thursday night.
