Here on "Keeping Up in The Middle" we discuss what makes our state a great place while tying Frankie into the messa of the week throughout our crazy lives and in our crazy state in the state of Indiana as we cover everything from crime to politics to what makes Indiana great and sports. From producer, Braydyn Lents, this episode is part of an in-depth investigation that lasted a full year in 2023 as we discuss the challenges of Indiana State University's leadership as Dr. Deborah Curtis' call to have the baseball team move to Texas to play in last year's NCAA Baseball Super Regionals away from ISU which not only made people from the Wabash Valley furious, it angered them.

The baseball team this year and last year were riding off of the best success in baseball for the first time in school history as one incident overshadowed the team's luck in the tournament but not their heart as many would expect.

This is not just a baseball story as the College World Series has been going on this week in Omaha, Nebraska, but this team deserved more credit, but was tarnished due to greed.

This features a nighttime report from NBC Sports themselves along with a swimming competition accompanied by ads and a news report from 1992.

This is episode #17 of our podcast we discuss the big portion of the Indianapolis 500. Yes! I said the Indianapolis 500! We will be covering that since that is very important to the growth of our podcast as we don't have much college basketball to talk about until July when we preview the next season, but we also discuss college baseball and the race for this special episode of the Cinderella Slippers Podcast.

It's not March but we will still talk about other magical moments in sports and most importantly college sports.

On May 25, 2020, my high school
special education counselor called my mom to inform her that I had won a
contest. A few days later, I received a $500 scholarship from the school
corporation, which made us very happy. However, things took a turn when I started
attending Vincennes Junior College in Indiana for the 2020-21 academic year
amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. I discovered that special education was not what
I thought it was, and it was heavily promoted as education for the worst of the
worst. Upon further investigation, I found out that the special education
program at the college was a major fraud, and it was all about greed rather
than helping students.

It took four years and a lawsuit by
NFL linebacker Michael Ohr against the Touhe family for me to realize that my
high school dreams had crashed into a brick wall. This problem is not just
limited to me - it has affected children across the United States. Greed and
programs that are supposed to help the needy are issues that many do not want
to address. However, in The Blind Lines, a one-year investigation by The Bear
Man Journal, freelance journalist Braydyn Lents, and Bear Man Films, we explore
corruption in special education. We aim to shed light on the issue and
encourage schools to take necessary action.
