Former University of Georgia outfielder, Kendall Burton, shares her incredible story of resilience which includes having 23 surgeries by the age of seventeen, an acute ischemic stroke at the age of 18, being told she would never play the sport she loves again, and how she didn’t take “no” for an answer and ended her playing career competing at the Women's College World Series in 2018. You’ll also hear how softball shielded her insecurities, how her parents influenced her on this crazy journey, what it was like competing on the biggest stage at the WCWS and how being “stubborn” isn’t always a bad thing. Kendall is now writing a memoir and inspiring the next generation of athletes with her incomparable story.
