On Today’s episode of the Kerusso Daily Devotional, we talk about the need to persevere when seeking contentment. It isn’t usually a quick proposition.

Jeremiah 15:15 says, “Lord, you understand; remember me and care for me. Avenge me on my persecutors. You are long-suffering—do not take me away; think of how I suffer reproach for your sake.”

Contentment isn’t something we stumble on and then don’t think about again. It must be sought from God, appreciated daily, then nurtured from a relationship with Christ. If you expect to find fulfillment quickly, you’re doing it wrong.
