February 20, 2023 Don't Allow People To Step On Your Dreams! | Ep.157
TODAY'S LESSON
The life lesson for today has nothing to do with a coffee bean, but it just came to my mind. I just graduated high school, I was 18 years old and I wanted to be an OB nurse so badly. I went to a local college and I remember sitting in a classroom, I think it was Anatomy and Physiology and one of the teachers was a nurse.
She asked us "What do you want to do?", it was like a prerequisite before you started nursing school. I said "I want to be an OB nurse", and so she looked at me and said, "You'll never be an OB nurse because there's too many of them"...
I guess at that time when I graduated high school in 2001, there might have been an influx of OB nurses. I remember, I was 18 and thinking in my chair saying, "Then I don't want to do it"... My mom is an ER nurse and my dad is a paramedic, so I know the medical field. But I legitimately went to the office that day and I changed my degree.
"I can't be an OB nurse, I'm not going to do this"...
I love where I'm at today, I love everything that I get to do. But I will never tell somebody that they cannot do something, because you have no idea.
I can't believe that nurse didn't even try to encourage me to chase after my dreams. I would have been a good nurse. Don't let people squish your dreams!

I'm going to give you a 5-minute tip on your keto journey. What did you have for lunch? I'm loving Intermittent Fasting consistently. I was doing intermittent fasting for two days on, and then a couple of days off.
How often do I do intermittent fasting? Monday through Friday, if we don't have a get-together or a potluck, or if we don't have something going on on the weekends, I will do it on the weekends just because I feel so great.
So for those of you who are curious about intermittent fasting, you can google "Intermittent Fasting" and you can see a ton of medical benefits. Intermittent fasting will help you overall with fat loss. It helps you with your heart health, brain health, and body. Overall, I feel incredible.

I'm making lunch real quick, and we just got done with CrossFit. I want to do a quick check-in in under five minutes to see how your day is going. LUNCH IDEAS
Our lunch today is low-carb wraps, you can also use other options, but we do like to use low-carb wraps.
Are they perfect keto? No.
Are they a better option? Yes.
You can do a low-carb wrap with meat and cheese, tuna, or egg salad, or you can even do lettuce wraps. Today, we're having low-carb pizzas.
LOW CARB PIZZAS
I'm using the low-carb wrap, putting some Rayos marinara sauce, season it with garlic. I usually put it in the blender because I'm not too fond of chunks of tomato. And then I'm throwing it in the air fryer.

We're going to just have a quick chat, and I hope that you're getting ready for the week. I'm guessing many of you are excited for the Super Bowl. I'm actually excited for the food and having fun with my friends. We're all going to our church, the kids will run around and have fun. The guys will scream and shout for the group they think will win. And I'm going to chat with my friends.
It's Sunday! And I'm super thankful, for this is the day that the Lord has made! No matter where you live or what you're doing, we shall rejoice and be glad in it.
Make sure you prepare to have a great week. I'll give you some quick tips, and I hope that you do this because it will help you have a more successful week.
PREP YOUR WEEK!
Check your fridge and plan your meals. We already went to the grocery store so we're ready for a successful week. We wont have to go through the drive thru, because we already prepped our food and we made sure that we've got food in our home.
