Kevin the Berner, a virtual therapy dog, is our guest for this episode, well, his owner/ translator Diana is! Through social media, Kevin has provided comfort to over 80-thousand people online. Wanting to have a therapy dog to make a difference in other people’s lives, Diana began taking Kevin to youth groups and assisted care facilities.
During his time working with people at the care facilities, Kevin began to develop a fear of new people. Quick thinking Diana decided to begin an Instagram page for him to provide comfort for new people online, lessening his fear. Over the years they have been sharing the daily fun, adventures, dog friendly stays and hikes, making an impact virtually.
