The Mean Green Machine from Season 5 Episode 1 returns, which is a rare instance of a story arc on the Dukes. This episode….has legit - nay - GREAT - stunts in the form of two totally awesome stunts over moving vehicles. There is a reference of radio stations - which Bernie should like. There is a comically sized magnet involved that looks like something Wile E. Coyote would use. At long last, Boss Hogg finally uses a bazooka. The first time Vance Duke sees the Mean Green Machine he shoots dynamite at it. And the acting in this…..is not terrible. In fact, it’s tolerable. Cartoonishly charming, even. Chris Mayer and Byron Cherry are kind of getting into the swing of things. But, in just three episodes, they’ll be homeless and will never be mentioned again.
