An enthusiastic, and perhaps opinon filled, episode featuring Matt Barr. Matt spent a few years developing a very cool combo-centric co-op card game (say that a few times in a row!), which funded on Kickstarter on 2019. All of his backers now have their copies... except for 1... and he still has copies available for purchase on Amazon!
The game has a website dedicated to the rules of the game, check it out HERE
Want to see it on Amazon? Have a look at the entry and the comments with the link HERE

In this episode I speak to first time creator, Alexander Lee, about Necromagis. Alexander was a partner with Chris Miles, and together they created Goblin Loft Games to crowdfun this dark, morbid creation of theirs. Learn how they used the dark theme of the game to fuel their updates/comments, how they managed their own artwork, and some of their other efforts to successfully fund this multi-player card game!

Liberty takes some time to tell her very inspiring success story of Crystallo. It began as a simple game creation plan with her family, escalated into a new solo game that won some highly sought BGG awards, then went on to be a significant Kickstarter considering it is a solo game from a brand new game designer. She also has some wonderful perspectives on community support and engagement.
Her game is available to purchase in retail stores soon, feel free to visit www.lightheartgames.com to learn more!

This Kickstarter Journey features Gabe Barrett, the designer and independant publisher of Hunted. This was a unique KS, in that it offered two separate but similar games in the same campaign. In this interview Gabe shares the journey, including thoughts on paid reviews, what kind of games are meant for KS, and thoughts on campaign relaunches. Hunted is being manufactured and delivered to backers soon, and can still be ordered via jetbacker as a late pledge if you are interested (https://www.jetbacker.com/hunted/).

In this episode I speak with a first time creator, relatively new to boardgames and Kickstarter. We discuss how he thought of his game, and his devoted passion to make sure this project came to reality! Stephen's committment to delivering a quality product is admirable, as is his choice to package and ship every game personally.
I had the opportunity to play Stephen's game on a digital tabletop simulator, so it was nice to talk with him again a few months after successfully funding.
If you are interested in a copy of Stephen's game, Reforge, just visit his website at www.secretbossgames.com.
He is already working on expansions, as well as another game concept!

Danny is actually in the midst of another Kickstarter campaign right now (Jan 9th 2020) called "Chronicles of Denoa", a 5E DnD Campaign and Adventure series. Have a look, it has some amazing concepts, great art, and some well known supporters from the hobby gaming world!
