Creator Shawn Michael Hescock had a novel idea back in December 2018. He came up with the idea, and 3 days later launched a Kickstarter for it called Adventure Post! The simple concept, but intriguing solo game style, generated over $10,000 in funding with over 300 backers.

Creator Glenn Ford shares some thoughts about how he Kickstarted Moonflight, the deck unbuilder. Glenn successfully raised over $18,000 USD while going against some of the common practices in crowdfunding. No major reviews, no major advertisements, no external playtests, and only a few quotes from playtesters. Have a listen to see how this happened!

The experienced, and talented, Carla Kopp, shares some her learning with us from her many Kickstarter Journeys. She is launching Tumble Towns at the time of this episode being published, but we spend some time talking about her most successful game, Fire in the Library.

Some of her insight includes the fun of conventions, the power of prototypes and videos, and a way her company was able to work around the no-charity policy of Kickstarter to be able to get boardgames donated to libraries!
